Look: Park Bom Drops Teaser for ‘I’

It’s official: Park Bom of the disbanded K-pop girl group 2NE1 is making her solo comeback after a year.

On Thursday, November 9, Park Bom’s agency D-NATION Entertainment released the teaser for the single’s upcoming single titled “I.”

According to the agency, “I” is described as a pop ballad song that is enriched with a fusion of acoustic and electric guitar melodies. Moreover, it will depict the artist’s calm and solitary state, reflecting her personal journey and growth as an artist.

In the 20-second teaser, a woman is seen in a vacant room, her expressionless face merging with the subtle light filtering through the window. The overall melancholic ambiance of the teaser hinted that the track will be wistful and sentimental.

Towards the end of the teaser, Park Bom’s distinct vocals made a brief but striking appearance. Which further heightened the intrigue among her supporters who have eagerly awaited for new music from her.

Notably, “I” would serve as Park Bom’s first musical release in 2023. In March 2022, she released the single “Flowerwith Melomance’s Kim Min Seok. And in November 2022, she also released another single titled Remembered” as part of “PROJECT: PRESENT.”

Park Bom is back!

Following the release of the teaser, fans couldn’t help but express their excitement for Park Bom’s upcoming release.

On social media, fans are already showing support for the artist’s new music. Especially since it’s been a while since the singer came out with a new release. Moreover, some fans are also asking for a mini or full album instead of just digital singles.

While there’s still no news of whether Park Bom will be releasing an album in the future, there’s no denying that the fans will support whatever music she releases.

In terms of other activities, Park Bom has headlined her first solo fan concert titled “You and I” in the Philippines in June. Apart from that though, fans are also clamoring to have her visit their respective countries for the show.
