The K-pop world buzzed with excitement as PLEDIS Entertainment confirmed the much-anticipated return of SEVENTEEN‘s Seungkwan. A representative from the agency told Xports News that the group’s main vocalist will participate in their upcoming comeback, which is tentatively scheduled for October.

Seungkwan posts on Weverse

Seungkwan broke his silence on the same day, reaching out to fans with a heartfelt message. “How are you doing, CARATs?” he wrote on Weverse. “It’s been a while. There’s so many things I want to say, but first of all, I’ve missed you so much! You were probably curious how I’ve been doing, right? I’ve been resting and recovering well.”

He went on to describe how this hiatus affected him. “It feels like I’ve experienced true rest for the first time. Of course there were times when I went on vacation for a few days, but this was the first time in my life I’ve taken a break completely for myself in order to recharge.”

At first, Seungkwan wasn’t sure he wanted to take the time off. He was worried that his members would feel burdened by his absence. But the 12 boys rallied around him, as did the fans. Their bond and support played a significant role in his healing.

“I’m really getting so much better,” he wrote. “ I feel like it won’t be long until I can meet you all. I was going to leave a short message and photos saying I’m doing well, but as I was actually writing, that didn’t happen.”

SEVENTEEN reacts

Seungkwan ended his message by saying, “I’ll leave it up to here for today and tell you more later. I’ll come back to cheerfully greet everyone again! Thank you CARATs, sleep well. P.S. I’m eating well, sleeping well, bloating well, and debloating well. Don’t worry.”

His fellow SEVENTEEN members were quick to respond to Seungkwan‘s message. Mingyu playfully remarked, “I miss you so much, I’m gonna give you a kiss on the cheek.” DK, Jun, and The8 shared their sentiments as well, emphasizing Seungkwan‘s importance to the group and their eagerness for his return.

Seungkwan will participate in the November and December dates of SEVENTEEN’s Japanese dome tour. It will kick off on November 23-24 at the Veruna Dome in Saitama, followed by performances on November 30 and December 2-3 at Vantelin Dome in Nagoya. The group will then go to Kyocera Dome in Osaka on December 9 and 10. The tour will end with performances at Fukuoka Paypay Dome on December 16 and 17.

The outpouring of support from fans and fellow members is a testament to the tight-knit bond the members of SEVENTEEN share with their fanbase. As preparations for his return are underway, fans worldwide are eager to see Seungkwan shine alongside his members once again. – K-Pop News Writer
