According to some Korean media reports, Dokyeom will participate in a series of activities by the brand around the world. Among his reported first engagement is participating in Bally’s 2024 S/S Campaign.
Following the news, CARATs, fans of SEVENTEEN, took to social media to congratulate Dokyeom. Many of them are complimenting how the idol fit the style of the brand perfectly. Meanwhile, others are hoping to see more of the vocalist in fashion events.
More K-pop stars like Dokyeom being tapped by fashion houses
While the announcement of Dokyeom’s ambassadorship was only made today, the idol has previously attended an event by the brand.
In February, he graced Bally’s Fashion Week 2023 show in Milan. There, he sported a blue velvet suit.
With Dokyeom’s partnership with Bally, he became the second member of SEVENTEEN to be tapped as an ambassador by a renowned international fashion house following Vernon for Kenzo.
Interestingly, SEVENTEEN aren’t the only K-pop idols making waves in the fashion industry. The growing list includes BTS’ V for Cartier, TWICE’s Dahyun for Michael Kors and TWICE’s Sana for Prada.
Meanwhile, (G)I-DLE’s Miyeon and STRAY KIDS’ Hyunjin and Felix are also ambassadors for Jimmy Choo, Versace, and Louis Vuitton, respectively.
