The members of SEVENTEEN have stepped up to support the wildfire victims affected by the devastating wildfires that recently swept through parts of South Korea.

SEVENTEEN Members Support Wildfire Victims

On March 27, the Hope Bridge Korea Disaster Relief Association announced that SEVENTEEN had donated 1 billion won (approximately $682,000) to provide aid to residents impacted by the wildfires in Ulsan, North Gyeongsang, and South Gyeongsang provinces.

Expressing their sympathy and concern, SEVENTEEN also shared a heartfelt message: “We send our deepest sympathies to those who have suffered from this unexpected disaster. We hope our donation can provide even the smallest help to those affected by the wildfires. We extend our deepest condolences to the victims and offer our sincerest support to everyone going through this difficult time.”

Hope Bridge’s Secretary General Shin Hoon expressed his gratitude for SEVENTEEN’s generous donation, saying, “We are truly thankful for SEVENTEEN’s heartfelt donation. The donation will be used swiftly and transparently to help affected residents regain stability as soon as possible.”

This is not the first time SEVENTEEN has stepped forward to assist those in need. The group has consistently engaged in charitable activities, including previous donations to support disaster relief efforts, education, and children’s welfare. Their continuous acts of kindness and philanthropy also highlight their deep sense of social responsibility.

Fans, known as CARATs, have also praised SEVENTEEN’s meaningful gesture, with many expressing admiration for the group’s generosity and dedication to giving back to the community. Some have even been inspired to make their own donations in support of the wildfire victims.

As efforts continue to aid those affected by the fires, SEVENTEEN’s donation also serves as a reminder of the power of unity and compassion in times of crisis. Hopefully, the idol group’s generous action will also inspire others to do the same and support the wildfire victims.
