The speculation began on April 15, when several photos were posted on an online community showing a man and woman—presumed by fans to be Taemin and Noze—allegedly enjoying a casual outing. In the images, the two appeared to be walking arm-in-arm, sharing a hug, and acting affectionately, prompting widespread speculation that the two stars were romantically involved. The photos quickly spread online, leading to a flurry of rumors across social media platforms and fan forums.
In response to the growing buzz, Taemin’s agency, Big Planet Made (BPM) Entertainment, initially stated that they were “in the process of confirming the matter,” explaining that Taemin’s schedule made it difficult to respond immediately.
Finally, on April 17, BPM Entertainment released an official statement, clarifying the situation.“We apologize for the delay in confirming the matter due to Taemin’s ongoing schedule. The two are simply close colleagues who have worked together,” it stated.
The agency firmly emphasized that there is no romantic relationship between Taemin and Noze, adding, “We respectfully ask that you refrain from making excessive speculations. Thank you for your understanding.”
