SPARKLING “Reunites” at ATEEZ Concert

In a heartwarming reunion, the members of fictional boy group SPARKLING, portrayed by ATEEZ’s Yunho, Seonghwa, San, and Boys Republic’s Suwoong in the KBS drama “Imitation,” came together again on the first night of ATEEZ’s “TOWARDS THE LIGHT: WILL TO POWER” concert in Seoul’s Jamsil Indoor Stadium.

Sparkling Members (ATEEZ’s Yunho, Seonghwa, San, and Boys Republic’s Suwoong) Reunite at ATEEZ Concert

The reunion at ATEEZ’s concert was a nostalgic moment for fans of the drama and its cast. Suwoong, who now supports ATEEZ as their former “bandmate,” shared the joyous occasion on his Instagram, posting pictures from the concert and backstage moments with Yunho, Seonghwa, and San.

In his Instagram post, Suwoong expressed his happiness at seeing the Sparkling members again after a long while and praised ATEEZ, stating, “ATEEZ is truly the best.”

The reunion not only delighted fans but also highlighted the strong bond that the cast members formed while working on “Imitation.” As ATEEZ continues its successful journey in the K-pop industry, moments like these add a touch of nostalgia and camaraderie, creating cherished memories for both the artists and their supporters.

Three years ago, the ATEEZ members, along with Suwoong, played characters in “Imitation” who were part of the fictional boy group SPARKLING. The drama gained attention for its portrayal of the competitive and challenging world of idol groups, and the cast members showcased their talents not only in acting but also in performing as a group.

Although SPARKLING was purely fictional, they made memorable appearances, including a feature on the popular music talk show “Yoo Hee Yeol’s Sketchbook.” The drama also led to the creation of “DIAMOND,” Sparkling’s “debut” album, which amusingly topped Hanteo’s daily album chart.

ATEEZ kickstarted their “TOWARDS THE LIGHT : WILL TO POWER” concert tour on Saturday, January 27, 2024. The group will be touring across the globe in the first half of the year.
