BOYNEXTDOOR has already set an impressive personal record with their upcoming mini album, even before its official release! The upcoming album ‘19.99’ has brought in over 700,000 in pre-orders a week before being dropped!

‘19.99’ Set New Record For BOYNEXTDOOR

On August 31, YG PLUS, the album distributor for BOYNEXTDOOR, announced that the rookie boy group’s forthcoming mini album “19.99” had already amassed an astounding 710,989 stock pre-orders as of the previous day, August 30. This achievement is particularly significant as it comes with 10 days still remaining until the album’s official release on September 9.

The pre-order figures for “19.99” have already surpassed the final pre-order total of 571,600 that BOYNEXTDOOR’s previous mini album, “HOW?” achieved earlier this year. The rapid accumulation of pre-orders highlights the growing anticipation and excitement among fans for the group’s new release.

The number of stock pre-orders is a metric used to gauge the estimated demand for an album, taking into account various factors, including the number of albums pre-ordered by fans. In addition to their Korean activities, BOYNEXTDOOR recently made a notable mark internationally with their official debut in Japan. Their first Japanese single, “AND,” achieved remarkable success by topping Oricon’s daily singles chart upon its release. This accomplishment also underscores the group’s growing influence and appeal beyond Korea, expanding their fanbase and establishing a strong presence in the Japanese music market.

As BOYNEXTDOOR gears up for their comeback, they will be giving fans an early taste of what’s to come with a pre-release track titled “Dangerous,” which is set to drop on September 2 at 6 p.m. KST. The group is also scheduled to start promoting the song on music shows, beginning with Mnet’s “M Countdown” on September 5.
