Ryu Jun Yeol’s Agency Purchases Ex-Girlfriend Lee Hyeri’s Label

C-Jes Studios has officially acquired Creative Group ING. The news had people talking because the agency represents Ryu Jun Yeol and the label they acquired also happens to represent Ryu’s ex-girlfriend Lee Hyeri.

Why Did Ryu Jun Yeol’s Company Acquire Ex-Girlfriend Lee Hyeri’s Label?

The recent acquisition of Creative Group ING by C-JeS Studios, the agency representing Ryu Jun Yeol, has sent ripples through the K-pop industry, prompting speculation and intrigue among fans and netizens alike. The ₩1.30 billion KRW deal, equivalent to approximately $963,000 USD, has raised questions about the future direction of both agencies and their respective artists.

While the news of the acquisition may initially have caused some concern among fans, many netizens have urged for calm, pointing out that both agencies were previously under the same ownership. This context suggests that the purchase may be more of a strategic merger than a hostile takeover, aimed at consolidating resources and streamlining operations.

One of the key points of interest stemming from the acquisition is its potential impact on the artists represented by the agencies, particularly Hyeri and Ryu Jun Yeol. Both stars have been embroiled in high-profile controversies in the past, including their involvement in a messy scandal with actress Han So Hee. With the merger of their respective agencies, fans are curious to see how this development will shape the careers and public images of Hyeri and Ryu Jun Yeol moving forward.

For Hyeri, who is the sole artist under Creative Group ING, the merger with C-JeS Studios could offer new opportunities for growth and exposure. As part of a larger agency with a diverse roster of talent, she may benefit from enhanced resources and support, potentially opening doors to broader career prospects and collaborations.

Ryu Jun Yeol Power Move?

Similarly, for Ryu Jun Yeol, the acquisition of Creative Group ING by C-JeS Studios may signify a strategic move to strengthen his position in the industry. With the combined expertise and infrastructure of both agencies at his disposal, Ryu Jun Yeol could leverage this synergy to further solidify his status as a leading actor and expand his presence in various entertainment ventures.

Overall, while the acquisition of Creative Group ING by C-JeS Studios marks a significant development in the industry, its full implications remain to be seen. As fans await further details and announcements from the agencies involved, one thing is certain: the merger has sparked anticipation and curiosity about the future trajectories of Hyeri, Ryu Jun Yeol, and the broader entertainment industry as a whole.

WHIB Member Leejeong Suffers Injury 2 Weeks Before Group’s Debut

WHIB has just hit a major snag right before their debut. The upcoming rookie idol group is already set to debut early next month. However, one of their members will not be able to fully participate in their activities due to an injury.

Leejeong Suffers Injury Ahead of WHIB Debut

On October 26, C-JeS Studio issued an announcement regarding WHIB member Leejeong. They disclosed that Leejeong had sustained an injury during a content shoot.

“Leejeong was immediately taken to the hospital for an examination, and was diagnosed with a fracture of the fibula body and damage to the intrinsic muscles and tendons of the ankle and foot area, and underwent surgery,” the statement read.

Consequently, while Leejeong will be taking part in WHIB’s debut activities and schedules, he will not be able to participate in performances.

“As this accident occurred just before the debut, he had a strong determination to stand on stage with the members, but we judged that sufficient rest and recovery are the top priorities in his current state where moving without crutches is uncomfortable,” the statement continued. “Therefore, Leejeong will participate in WHIB’s ‘Cut-Out activities and schedules but will not be involved in performances.”

C-JeS Studio created anticipation among K-Pop fans with their announcement of the upcoming idol group WHIB earlier this month. The group was slated to make their debut on November 8 with their very first single album titled ‘Cut-Out’.

WHIB consists of eight members: Jayder, Haseung, Jinbeom, UGeon, Jaeha, Inhong, Wonjun, and Leejeong. Their group name, WHIB, is a fusion of the words “white” and “black” and symbolizes their self-assurance in showcasing diverse charms, much like the two contrasting ends of a color spectrum. WHIB is the first idol group created by C-JeS Studio, the agency that formerly housed JYJ and presently manages artists like Gummy, EXID’s Solji, Noel, Hong Dae Kwang, and several others.

WHIB will debut with their first single album ‘Cut-Out’ on November 8, 2023.

Two members of the group have also gained visibility through competing in survival shows. In 2018, Inhong gained recognition by taking part on YG Entertainment’s program YG Treasure Box, which gave rise to the DARARI singers, TREASURE.

In addition, Haseung has showcased his talent in the survival show Stars Awakening. Said series later formed the boy group n.SSign, who also marked their debut recently.

All the eight members have also released covers and vlogs through the group’s Youtube variety show M.I.C. Trainees.
