On September 30, her agency MORE VISION released an official statement confirming that her final live broadcast as the show’s host will take place on October 4, with pre-recorded episodes airing on October 5 and 6. This marks the end of her year-long run as the beloved DJ of the popular radio program.
Reflecting on her experience, Chungha expressed heartfelt gratitude, sharing, “It was an invaluable time that I’ll remember for the rest of my life, an experience I couldn’t have had anywhere else. Thanks to everyone’s warmth and support, I was able to grow a lot. I think I’ll feel a bit empty for a while.” Her sincere appreciation for her listeners and the “Volume Up” team showcases the strong bond she has built with fans through the show.
Chungha also explained her decision, stating that she felt the need to dedicate more time to her music career, making it necessary to step down from her role as DJ. She acknowledged the difficulty of the choice but reassured fans that she plans to return as a singer with an improved and stronger image.
