MONSTA X’s Joohoney Drops ‘Hip Hop’ MV For ‘Behind Your Touch’ OST

Joohoney, a prominent member of MONSTA X, assumes the role of the voice behind “Hip Hop” in the ‘Behind Your Touch’ Original Soundtrack. The music video delivers an intimate perspective, capturing Lee Jooheon’s studio recording sessions and weaving in poignant scenes from the drama itself.

Joohoney Makes Unexpected Return in ‘Behind Your Touch’ OST

“Hip Hop” emerges as a dynamic hip-hop anthem, driven by a commanding 808 sound. What makes it even more intriguing is that Jooheon himself has crafted its witty lyrics. These lyrics resound with self-assuredness and a resolute determination to prioritize personal well-being and growth.

As the music video unfolds, viewers witness Joohoney’s artistic dedication as he breathes life into “Hip Hop” within the recording studio’s confines. The juxtaposition with dramatic moments from ‘Behind Your Touch’ lends an emotional depth to the music video, intertwining the realms of music and storytelling.

In this fusion of music and drama, Jooheon’s contribution not only elevates the OST but also underscores his versatility as an artist who continuously captivates audiences with his multifaceted talents and unwavering charisma. “Hip Hop” becomes not just a song, but a reflection of self-confidence and the pursuit of personal betterment.

The new music video is a welcome one for MONSTA X fans who were concerned about Joohoney’s military enlistment. Although the rapper had decided to enlist early for military service, Lee Jooheon clearly made a lot of content so MONBEBEs would not miss him. With that in mind, fans are looking forward to more content from Joohoney later this year.

Joohoney debuted with MONSTA X after taking part in the Mnet survival show “No Mercy” in 2015. He serves as the lead rapper, singer and songwriter of the group. Lee Jooheon announced his intention to enlist in military service in early July. He later enlisted for his mandatory military service as an active-duty soldier on July 24, 2023.
