Before going to the training center, V reached out to ARMYs through social media. On Instagram, he posted a screenshot of a video call with fellow BTS member Jungkook, with the caption, “Hyung is going first. Enlist safely tomorrow.” This simple yet profound message highlighted the deep bond between the BTS members.

V also took to Weverse. He posted a message that read, “I think I’ll miss you all so much. Honestly, I’m sad that I can’t make happy memories with ARMY for the time being, but besides that, it’ll be fine. The hardest thing is not being able to see ARMY. After 18 months, I’ll return in really good health, so ARMY, take good care of your health, and if you spend each day looking for happiness, I will appear saying, ‘Ta-da! I’m here!’”

To ensure his fans wouldn’t feel his absence too keenly, he diligently arranged several surprises for them. “I prepared various things for those 18 months, so please look forward to it. As we always have, let’s make precious memories after I return. I will really miss you, and I really love you, so please wait for me until then. I will return soon! Bye!”

BTS V Reveals How Unexpected Netflix Show Changed His Mind About Acting

BTS’s V recently disclosed that his perspective on acting underwent a transformation thanks to a popular Netflix show. It’s been seven years since V marked his acting debut in the K-drama “Hwarang: The Poet Warrior Youth”. Nevertheless, Kim Taehyung has affirmed his keen interest in returning to the world of acting, inspired by a beloved series available on the popular streaming platform.

BTS Member V Shares Love for Unexpected Netflix Show

The BTS member was recently a guest on IU’s talk show “IU’s Palette” where they discussed his solo album ‘Layover’. However, the two also touched upon some of V’s other interests which include acting. When IU asked whether he has plans for his acting career in the future, Kim Taehyung confirmed that he does. In addition to that, V admitted that he wants to try working on a thriller for a change.

Perhaps the coolest revelation during the interview is when V shared how a Netflix show changed his perspective on acting. “Do you know the Netflix series ‘The End of the F***ing World’? My thoughts on acting completely changed after I watched that,” Kim Taehyung stated.

IU quickly admitted that she also loves the series. V immediately continued that he wanted to take on a role similar to James in the Netflix series.

“When people ask me, ‘Is there a role you want to play?’ I tell them this protagonist of ‘The End of the F***ing World’,” he said.

This isn’t the first time that the BTS member admitted he is eager to return to acting. It was previously reported that V wants to play the bad guy for a change when he continues pursuing his acting career.

“I’ve told a lot of my friends and people around me that I now have this ambition to play a villain at least once,” he said.

V is currently promoting his solo album ‘Layover’.

BTS’ V Performs ‘Run BTS’ Dance While Filming ‘Jinny’s Kitchen’

BTS’ V knows exactly how to make ARMYs happy. Kim Taehyung treated fans to a special performance of the “Run BTS” dance challenge while filming for “Jinny’s Kitchen”.

ARMYs Reveal Details About V’s Final Day of Filming ‘Jinny’s Kitchen’

V has shown off a different side of himself by joining the cast of the reality cooking show. In “Jinny’s Kitchen”, Kim Taehyung served as one of Lee Seo-jin‘s interns as he opened a restaurant in Bacalar, Mexico. The BTS member managed to keep a low profile while filming for the series. However, ARMYs are now coming forward with awesome behind-the-scenes stories as the show comes to an end.

Several fans managed to visit the “Jinny’s Kitchen” location in Bacalar. They confirmed that V treated them well on the last day of filming, sending food for ARMYs who were waiting. But best of all, Kim Taehyung gave fans a special treat by performing the “Run BTS” dance challenge.

V had previously opened up about his decision to join the tvN series. According to the “Sweet Night” singer, he was influenced by his friends Park Seo Joon and Choi Woo Shik, who also appear in “Jinny’s Kitchen”.

“Watching a variety show as a viewer and appearing on one are different experiences,” he told Elle Korea. “But this time, I was able to appear with close friends, and their positive reviews made me decide to join the show.“

Working with his fellow Wooga Squad members certainly made it easier for V to film the show. In the same interview, Kim Taehyung also admitted that he is interested in working on his own music.  However, he addressed that writing solo songs is not easy.

“Having ambition is what keeps me going,” V said. “Completing one song that I like is a difficult task. There are times when I feel like giving up, but I keep trying.”

The 10th and final episode of “Jinny’s Kitchen” was broadcast on April 28, 2023.
