On March 17 at midnight KST, xikers officially confirmed their comeback with the announcement of their fifth mini album, ‘HOUSE OF TRICKY : SPUR’, set to drop on April 4 at 1 p.m. KST. This release holds special significance as it marks the group’s first comeback as a full group following Junghoon’s return from his nearly two-year hiatus.

In May 2023, KQ Entertainment announced that Junghoon would be taking a break due to health concerns, including knee pain.

“After undergoing surgery, it was advised that Junghoon undergo physical therapy for a limited period, and as a result, he plans on halting all of his promotions temporarily in order to focus on his treatment and physical therapy, as to recover as soon as possible,” the agency said in a statement.

Now, with Junghoon’s return, fans are eager to see xikers back together as a full 10-member group.

‘HOUSE OF TRICKY : SPUR’ continues the group’s compelling ‘House of Tricky’ series, which has unfolded through four previous albums since their debut. On January 16, xikers officially announced the cancellation of their Asia tour. The tour, titled “WORLD TOUR TRICKY HOUSE : FIRST ENCOUNTER,” was initially scheduled to take place in Thailand, Malaysia, Macau, and Indonesia between January 17 and February 1.

The group’s agency explained that the cancellation was due to visa issues and local conditions, making it impossible to proceed as planned. This unexpected announcement has disappointed fans who were eagerly anticipating xikers’ performances in these countries.

“We regret to inform you that <2025 xikers WORLD TOUR TRICKY HOUSE : FIRST ENCOUNTER IN ASIA>, originally scheduled to take place from January 17 to February 1, has been canceled due to unavoidable circumstances, including visa-related issues and local conditions,” KQ Entertainment said in a statement.

“Details regarding ticket refunds will be provided by BoxLive Asia, the event organizer,” they continued. “We sincerely apologize to all the fans who were looking forward to the performance. We deeply appreciate your understanding and promise to return with an outstanding performance in the future.”

xikers also expressed their regret and gratitude to fans for their unwavering support, promising to resolve these challenges and meet their fans in the future. XIKERS’ Junghoon Announces Hiatus Due To Knee Injury

Junghoon will go on hiatus to focus on his health. The XIKERS lead vocalist is taking a break from group promotions due to a knee injury that requires surgery.

KQ Entertainment Announces Junghoon’s Hiatus

KQ Entertainment issued a statement regarding Junghoon’s health, confirming that the XIKERS member will go on hiatus. It was revealed that Kim Jung-hoon had suffered from knee pain before visiting a doctor.

“Junghoon recently experienced pain in his knee while carrying out his schedules, and visited a medical specialist for a thorough examination,” the statement read.

“Based on the examination results, Junghoon has been diagnosed with a torn anterior cruciate ligament,” it continues. “As the medical specialist advised that he needed to undergo surgery, the exact date and schedule of Junghoon’s surgery are currently under adjustment.”

The agency also confirmed that Junghoon’s surgery will be followed by necessary rehabilitation. This means the lead vocalist will not join the rest of XIKERS in their upcoming promotions.

“After undergoing surgery, it was advised that Junghoon undergo physical therapy for a limited period, and as a result, he plans on halting all of his promotions temporarily in order to focus on his treatment and physical therapy, as to recover as soon as possible,” the statement read.

KQ Entertainment assured fans that they are looking out for Junghoon’s well-being. They also confirmed that an update will be posted once he recovers.

“We will continue to prioritize Junghoon’s treatment and recovery, and will do our best so that he can resume his schedules upon recovery,” the agency stated.

Junghoon was originally a member of KQ Entertainment’s trainee group KQ Fellaz 2 (ATEEZ was the original KQ Fellaz prior to debut). The group was later renamed XIKERS and they debuted with the EP ‘House of Tricky: Doorbell Ringing’. They are currently promoting the lead singles “Tricky House” and “Rockstar”.
