Luckily, Yeo One clarified his stance on the group’s status. In a handwritten letter posted on his Instagram account, the PENTAGON vocalist pointed out that he will remain a member of the group.

Change invariably brings new opportunities with it. And this, it seems, is the right moment to embrace a new challenge, to enhance our music for our dear fans, the UNIVERSE members, and all the admirers who support us relentlessly. As I bid adieu to CUBE Entertainment, my dedication as a PENTAGON member remains unwavering,” he wrote.

As a PENTAGON member, my only endeavor would be to relentlessly strive to grow and improve, working hard to ensure that we continue shining, irrespective of where we are,” he added.

Soon after Yeo One’s post, PENTAGON released the music video for their new digital single “With UNIVERSE.” In the MV, the group members look back on memories they’ve created with fans and each other. As expected, “With UNIVERSE” is a song dedicated to the group’s fandom UNIVERSE. The new release coincides with PENTAGON’s upcoming 7th anniversary.

For now, it has not yet been revealed whether Yeo One, Yan An, Yuto, Kino, and Wooseok have signed with new companies. In the meantime, UNIVERSEs can rest assured that PENTAGON will continue promoting together in the future.
