On October 8, it was confirmed that Lee Je Hoon, Pyo Ye Jin, and Kim Eui Sung will be reprising their iconic roles in the highly anticipated “Taxi Driver 3”. Fans of the hit drama series have eagerly awaited news of the cast’s return, and now it’s clear that the original team will be back to deliver their unique brand of justice.
Lee Je Hoon’s agency, Company ON, responded to the reports, confirming, “Lee Je Hoon is confirmed to star in SBS’s drama ‘Taxi Driver 3’.”
Although the production team had previously announced the return of the drama for a third season, discussions were still ongoing regarding the cast members’ participation. The confirmation of the lead actors’ return has sent fans into a frenzy of excitement as they look forward to seeing the continuation of the beloved series.
“Taxi Driver”, based on a popular webtoon, tells the story of a secretive taxi service that helps victims exact revenge when the legal system fails them. The series’ gripping plot, intense action scenes, and powerful performances have made it a standout in Korean dramas. Season 1 debuted in 2021 to critical and audience acclaim, and “Taxi Driver 2” followed in 2023, also breaking rating records with a finale surpassing 20 percent viewership. The show also earned Lee Je Hoon the prestigious Daesang (Grand Prize) at the 2023 SBS Drama Awards for his incredible portrayal of Kim Do Gi.
