‘Panic’ by Beomgyu Tops Global iTunes Charts

On March 27 at 6 p.m. KST, Beomgyu officially released ‘Panic’ digitally, accompanied by the music video for the deeply emotional track. Almost immediately, the song began soaring up the charts worldwide, proving his immense popularity as both a member of TXT and a solo artist.

Within just a few hours of its release, ‘Panic’ had claimed the No. 1 spot on iTunes Top Songs charts in at least 11 different regions, including Japan and Russia. By 9 a.m. KST on March 28, the track had already charted in at least 43 different regions across the globe, including major music markets such as the United States and the United Kingdom.

In addition to its iTunes success, ‘Panic’ made a strong debut in Japan. By 11 p.m. KST on March 27—just five hours after its release—the song had already climbed to No. 2 on Line Music’s real-time chart, further showcasing Beomgyu’s strong international influence.

Meanwhile, the music video for the title track has also been a trending topic online. It landed on YouTube’s list of Top Trending Music Videos in at least eight different regions, including Korea, Japan, Singapore, and New Zealand. Fans worldwide also helped push a hashtag related to the mixtape to No. 3 on X (formerly Twitter)’s list of worldwide trends, demonstrating the excitement surrounding Beomgyu’s solo debut.
