HD Hyundai recently revealed that WJSN‘s Dayoung is the new global ambassador for DEVELON, their construction machinery brand. This is a significant milestone in the industry, because she’s the first female artist to endorse something like this.

In the promotional photos, Dayoung confidently holds an HD Hyundai employee card and a miniature forklift. She confirmed her role as DEVELON’s new ambassador by visiting the HD Hyundai GRC office. She even obtained a license for operating a small excavator as proof that she’s knowledgeable and passionate about construction.

Dayoung broadens DEVELON’s appeal

Born Lim Dayoung on May 14, 1999, in Jeju, South Korea, she is affectionately known as Dayomi. Her entertainment career began with her participation in K-Pop Star 1. She has since demonstrated her diverse talents, including dancing, playing the tambourine and triangle, and singing. Dayoung is also known for her nurturing personality, earning her the nickname “mom” of the WJSN dorm.

Dayoung showcased her acting skills in dramas like True Beauty, where she had a memorable cameo. She also appeared in Love Revolution. She’s a proud pet owner who attended prestigious institutions like the School of Performing Arts Seoul (SOPA).
