GS25, a prominent convenience store chain in South Korea, has launched two exclusive culinary delights in collaboration with the multinational boy group ZEROBASEONE. Released on November 14 and 23, these products are themed around the group’s second album, MELTING POINT, offering fans a taste of their concept.
About the GS25 products
The first product, the Melting Croque Monsieur Sandwich, went on sale last November 14. This sandwich is a culinary embodiment of the album’s melting theme. It features a rich Bechamel sauce and cheese that melts upon heating. GS25 crafted this sandwich to symbolize the fusion of diverse flavors, mirroring the melting point concept of different substances.
Following this, the Melting Red Velvet Cake was introduced on November 23. This mini cake, perfect for the holiday season, consists of a red bread sheet covered in luscious white cream cheese. Not only is this treat delicious, it’s also visually appealing.
In a delightful twist, both products came with special stickers depicting the members as charming animal characters. Fans who collect all 18 stickers and share their collection on Instagram may win a Polaroid photo and a signed CD from ZEROBASEONE through a lucky draw event.
ZEROBASEONE has been making waves
ZEROBASEONE, a nine-member multinational boy group, has been making waves since their debut in July 2023. They have two consecutive double-million selling albums, over 1.05 million YouTube subscribers and 2.2 million Instagram followers.
This collaboration is part of the chain’s strategy to engage with the youth. The chain has also collaborated with other artists and their projects, including pre-sales for albums by BTS’s j-hope, ENHYPEN, and IVE, as well as pre-sales for aespa‘s VR concert tickets and the operation of concept stores.
This latest venture with ZEROBASEONE is another step in GS25’s efforts to engage customers in innovative and exciting ways, blending the worlds of K-pop and convenience store culture in a unique and flavorful manner. – K-Pop News Writer
