ZEROBASEONE, the talented boy group formed through the “Boys Planet” project, recently made a surprise appearance at the year-end concert of their WAKEONE Entertainment labelmate Kim Jae Hwan. The concert took place on December 16 at the KBS Arena in Gangseo-gu, Seoul, and the members of ZEROBASEONE brought excitement and energy to the event.

Kim Jae Hwan gave the group an excellent introduction. “The name of today’s concert is ‘NOT ALONE,’ so I invited friends, ZEROBASEONE,” he said. “They’re very busy people, but they came all the way here. Thank you so much. We’re like a family, very supportive. They’re rookies with great talent sweeping the rookie awards these days. Even more so, they’re auditionees like I was, walking a similar path, so I sincerely want to support them a lot.”

ZEROBASEONE, consisting of talented individuals selected through the competitive “Boys Planet” reality show, made their official debut on July 10, 2023, with the EP titled “Youth in the Shade.” The group garnered attention for their diverse talents and multinational lineup, representing contestants from various countries.

The “Boys Planet” show, which aired from February 2 to April 20, 2023, brought together contestants from South Korea, China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan, Thailand, Vietnam, the United States, and Canada. The aim was to create a multinational boy group, and ZEROBASEONE emerged as one of the groups to capture the hearts of fans.
