K-pop girl group aespa surprised their MYs with a teaser for their upcoming release “Better Things.”

In the clip shared on Monday, July 31, the graphics featured cute designs such as flowers, human body, and water-related elements.

They also released a TikTok video that saw all four members of aespa singing along to the track.

The single “Better Things” will be released on August 18 at midnight in every local time zone.

As of writing, SM Entertainment has yet to release more details about the release.

Composed of Karina, Giselle, Winter, and Ningning, aespa made their debut in November 2020 with their hit single “Black Mamba.”

Their latest comeback was in May through their third mini-album MY WORLD, which carries the title track “Spicy.” Also in May, the group made history as the first K-pop act to attend the Cannes Film Festival. The quartet attended the prestigious event as the global ambassador of the luxury Swiss jewelry Chopard.

The group is currently embarking on their first solo concert tour called SYNK: Hyper Line.

aespa is also confirmed to perform in SMTOWN LIVE concert in Jakarta in September, alongside other SM Entertainment artists such as TVXQ, Super Junior, Red Velvet, NCT 127, NCT Dream, WayV, and upcoming boy group RIIZE.
