“NCT’s Jaehyun applied to the Army Band and received a notification of acceptance from the Military Manpower Administration today. Accordingly, he is scheduled to enlist as an active duty soldier on November 4 to fulfill his mandatory service,” the statement read.

“On the day of his entry into the recruit training center, there will be no official event to prevent safety accidents due to the congestion caused by the presence of many soldiers and their families,” it added.

The news comes just a month after his highly anticipated solo debut in August, leaving fans with mixed emotions. While his enlistment marks a temporary pause in his career, fans are proud of his solo achievements and eagerly awaiting his return.

Jaehyun, known for his versatility, has made a lasting impression as a vocalist and performer in NCT. The agency also emphasized that Jihoon’s absence is necessary for his full recovery, though they did not specify the nature of his condition. Fans have expressed concern, but PLEDIS reassured them that Jihoon is receiving the necessary care.

TWS, a six-member boy group formed by PLEDIS Entertainment, debuted earlier in 2024 with a splash, quickly gaining international recognition. “The Music Bank World Tour Madrid will be held on the scheduled date, October 12, 2024, with the same schedule, at the Miguel Ríos Auditorium in Rivas Vaciamadrid. It’s a well-connected venue (Metro and Intercity buses) and the only one available in the Madrid region with the necessary capacity to accommodate everyone who had already purchased their tickets, without compromising any of the artistic and technical production aspects,” the statement read.

“The main change will be that tickets, which were originally all seated, will now be standing tickets both on the floor and in the stands, due to space limitations and to ensure a safe evacuation plan,” it added.

Originally, the concert was set to be held at the iconic Santiago Bernabéu Stadium on October 12, 2024. However, earlier this month, Real Madrid canceled all concerts at the stadium until March 2025 due to ongoing noise complaints from local residents. This decision came as a surprise to many, including the organizers of “Music Bank in Madrid,” who were reportedly not informed in advance.

Despite the setback, the event will go forward as planned, now taking place at a different venue. The Miguel Ríos Auditorium is also a popular venue known for hosting major concerts and events, providing an excellent backdrop for the K-pop extravaganza.

“Accordingly, we will do our utmost to gather evidence related to malicious posts and to actively monitor [the situation] in order to protect our artist’s rights,” it added.

In November 2023, the agency made a similar announcement, confirming that they were already in the process of legal proceedings against those spreading malicious rumors or making defamatory remarks about D.O. and other artists under their management.
