Company Soosoo continues to prove they will protect Doh Kyung Soo at all costs. The agency just announced that they will take legal action against malicious posts about the EXO member.

Company Soosoo Takes Legal Action Against Malicious Posts

On September 20, Company Soosoo, EXO’s Doh Kyung Soo (D.O.)’s agency, released an official statement declaring that they would take strong legal action against individuals making malicious posts about their artist.

The agency also emphasized its zero-tolerance stance on defamation, slander, and the spread of false information, stressing that they are committed to protecting D.O.’s rights and mental well-being. They also stated they would pursue legal consequences for those responsible, without leniency.

Through realtime monitoring and reports, we have confirmed that malicious posts containing insults and libel about our artist are being continuously posted online,” the statement read. “Therefore, we are mass-gathering related evidence and materials, and we have decided that we can no longer overlook the severity of the situation resulting from these malicious posts.”

Accordingly, we will do our utmost to gather evidence related to malicious posts and to actively monitor [the situation] in order to protect our artist’s rights,” it added.

This is not the first time Company Soosoo has taken such action. In November 2023, the agency made a similar announcement, confirming that they were already in the process of legal proceedings against those spreading malicious rumors or making defamatory remarks about D.O. and other artists under their management.

Company Soosoo reiterated their commitment to monitoring online platforms for harmful content, ensuring that their artists can work in a healthy and supportive environment. The statement has garnered widespread support from EXO’s fanbase, who expressed concern over the harassment and are standing by D.O. during this challenging time. As a highly respected figure in the K-pop industry, both for his work with EXO and his successful acting career, D.O.’s fans are relieved that the agency is taking steps to safeguard his reputation and well-being.
