Chen Announces New Digital Single Just 4 Months After Latest Comeback
At midnight KST on September 27, Chen surprised fans by unveiling a teaser image for his upcoming release. The teaser features handwritten-style text set against a textured paper backdrop, evoking a sense of intimacy and artistry.
Soon after, Chen followed up with a lyric teaser, adorned with an illustrated moon, sparking further excitement among fans. The new single, titled “BEYOND:”, is set to drop on October 1, marking Chen’s return to the music scene just four months after his previous mini album ‘DOOR’.

Chen has also been keeping busy, much to the delight of his fans. Earlier, he revealed the dates and locations for his ‘Beyond the DOOR’ Asia tour, which kicked off with two successful concerts in Seoul on September 21 and 22. His tour also continues with performances scheduled in major cities across Asia, including Taipei on October 25, Bangkok on November 2, Kuala Lumpur on November 8, and Manila on November 23.
As the latest EXO member to embark on a solo tour this year, Chen also joins the ranks of Suho, Lay, Baekhyun, Chanyeol, and D.O., who have all ventured out on solo tours to promote their individual albums. In addition to supporting “BEYOND:”, Chen’s tour focuses on his ‘DOOR’ album, which was released in May, offering fans an intimate, fan-con experience where they can enjoy live performances of his solo work and interact with him on a more personal level.
