HxW Discuss SEVENTEEN 10th Debut Anniversary

The duo, who recently made their unit debut with the single album ‘BEAM’, captivated fans with not only their visuals but also their candid insights during the accompanying interview.

As SEVENTEEN celebrates their 10th debut anniversary this year, Hoshi and Woozi reflected on their journey as members of the beloved K-pop group. Hoshi shared, “It honestly feels surreal that it’s been 10 years. Time has really flown by.”

Woozi added, “We’ve experienced so much together—countless performances, songs, and memories—but the connection we share as a team hasn’t changed at all.” The two emphasized, “Even though the world around us has changed, the core of who we are and our relationship remains the same. We’re still having fun like we did at the beginning.”

They also opened up about their new unit project HxW and the creative process behind their debut album ‘BEAM’, which dropped on March 10. Woozi, who took the lead in producing the album, explained, “This album was really born out of friendship. The keywords we’d use to describe it are ‘chemistry,’ ‘approachability,’ and ‘sincerity.’”

Hoshi added, “We wanted to show our authentic selves—just two friends who genuinely enjoy creating music together.”

The duo revealed that working on ‘BEAM’ reignited their excitement for future projects. “The more we work, the more new dreams we discover,” they shared. “Once one goal is achieved, another takes its place.”

Fans have praised HxW for showcasing a more personal and playful side of SEVENTEEN, and both Hoshi and Woozi expressed gratitude for the opportunity to explore new musical paths while staying true to their roots.
