Hyeri Opens Up About Staying At Home For 1 Year

She might be famous but Hyeri is more comfortable simply staying at home. The former GIRL’S DAY member revealed why staying at home is beneficial for celebrities like her.

Hyeri Discusses The Reason for Staying at Home For A Whole Year

Hyeri’s candid revelation about her year-long hiatus sheds light on the less glamorous side of the entertainment industry and the toll it can take on mental well-being. During the March 22nd episode of her YouTube series ‘Hyeri’s Club,’ the former GIRL’S DAY member opened up about her experience of being confined to her home for an extended period.

Reflecting on her hiatus, Hyeri confessed, “I was stuck at home doing nothing for a year,” illustrating the sense of stagnation and isolation she experienced during that time. Her honesty provided a rare glimpse into the challenges faced by celebrities during periods of inactivity, dispelling the notion of constant glitz and glamour associated with fame.

In a poignant exchange with guest Kim Chung Ha, Hyeri delved deeper into the emotional aspect of her hiatus, probing Kim Chung Ha about her own feelings of anxiety during breaks from the spotlight. Kim Chung Ha candidly admitted to experiencing moments of self-doubt and frustration, highlighting the psychological toll of being temporarily disconnected from the fast-paced entertainment industry.

The Importance of Self-Care

Hyeri’s revelation also underscored the importance of taking breaks and prioritizing mental health amidst demanding schedules. Moreover, Hyeri’s proactive approach to her hiatus—whether voluntary or not—reflects a mature understanding of self-care and personal growth. Rather than viewing her time off as a setback, she recognized it as an opportunity for introspection and renewal, laying the foundation for her to return to work with renewed vigor and determination.

Ultimately, Hyeri’s candid discussion about her hiatus serves as a reminder of the importance of mental well-being in an industry often characterized by intense pressure and scrutiny. Her willingness to share her experiences authentically contributes to breaking down the stigma surrounding mental health issues and encourages others to prioritize self-care and seek support when needed.
