ITZY’s Yuna Reveals How Members Avoid Infighting

ITZY has been around for several years and it certainly looks like the members get along wonderfully. So what’s the secret to their close bond? Member Yuna has revealed how she, Yeji, Lia, Ryujin, and Chaeryeong avoid infighting all these years.

No Infighting: ITZY’s Recipe for Harmony

On the recent episode of ‘Choi Hwa Jung’s Power Time’ that aired on January 17th, the popular K-pop girl group ITZY shared insights into their harmonious relationship and how they manage to avoid infighting. The group, known for their infectious energy and camaraderie, shed light on their secret formula for maintaining a healthy dynamic within the team.

DJ Choi Hwa Jung delved into the group dynamics during the interview and specifically asked about how the members, consisting of Yeji, Lia, Ryujin, Chaeryeong, and Yuna, manage to get along so well. Yuna, the youngest member, was questioned about whether the older members take special care of her due to her age. In response, Yuna emphasized the equality within the group, stating, “I think we’re all equal,” and shared a unique perspective on age dynamics by mentioning that if someone is the same age as one of the older members, they automatically assume a role similar to an older sister.

One of the key takeaways from Yuna’s explanation was the importance of longevity in relationships. Yuna mentioned that seeing Yeji, one of the older members, since a young age contributed to a sense of familiarity and mutual understanding within the group.

ITZY’s Beautiful Secret

What stands out most is ITZY’s commitment to open communication. Yuna highlighted that they refrain from saying things that shouldn’t be said to each other, implying a sense of respect and consideration among the members. This commitment to maintaining a positive and respectful atmosphere seems to be a crucial factor in avoiding conflicts and creating an environment where everyone feels heard and understood.

It’s not uncommon for members of close-knit groups to develop a familial bond, and ITZY seems to have embraced this concept. Their ability to act as a cohesive unit and avoid unnecessary discord reflects their maturity and professionalism. By understanding each other’s boundaries and fostering a culture of mutual respect, ITZY has successfully created an environment where everyone feels valued, contributing to their overall success and camaraderie.

ITZY Members Discuss Weight Gain During Comeback Schedules

ITZY might be on top of the world right now, but things haven’t been easy for the girl group. The members have just spoken about the difficulties of following a comeback schedule, including unexpected weight gain.

ITZY Admit Dealing With Weight Gain During Comeback

On January 12, KST, ITZY, the popular K-pop girl group, made a guest appearance on Park Myung Soo‘s YouTube show “Halmyungsoo” to promote their latest comeback with the mini album “BORN TO BE” and the title song “Untouchable.” The group, currently consisting of Yuna, Chaeryeong, Lia, and Ryujin, participated in the show, with Lia taking a break from activities due to health issues.

The episode, hosted by Park Myung Soo, provided a laid-back environment as the members enjoyed delicious delivery food and engaged in casual conversations about their lives and careers. During the discussion, Park Myung Soo raised the topic of maintaining a diet during comeback periods, a common challenge for many idols.

Yeji, one of the ITZY members, shared that they attempt to maintain a diet during comebacks, but it’s not always successful. Chaeryeong elaborated on her difficulties, explaining that her body requires sufficient sleep to lose weight. Unfortunately, the packed schedules during comebacks often deprive her of the necessary rest, making it challenging to manage her weight effectively.

Yuna empathized with Chaeryeong, pointing out that the lack of sleep can lead to a drop in blood sugar levels, resulting in increased hunger and overeating. This, in turn, contributes to bloating, creating a cycle that makes it difficult for the members to adhere to strict diets.

In response to the members expressing their frustrations over the impact of insufficient sleep on their health and weight management, Park Myung Soo lightened the mood by suggesting they take a nap right there, eliciting laughter from the ITZY members.

The candid discussion on the show highlighted the physical toll that gruelling work schedules can have on K-pop idols. ITZY’s honesty about their challenges, particularly regarding sleep deprivation and its effects on their health and diets, garnered appreciation from fans. The episode not only showcased the members’ candidness but also shed light on the demanding nature of the entertainment industry and the resilience and work ethic displayed by idols like ITZY.

Karina Apologizes for Ignoring Yeji’s Text Messages

aespa was recently a guest on the MBC radio program ‘Kim Shin Young’s Noon Song of Hope’ where the group promoted their latest album ‘Drama’. During their appearance, the host asked if they had made friends with other idols and Karina admitted that she became friends with ITZY members Yeji and Ryujin.

We used waiting rooms right next to each other, but we could hear each other and everything we said, so I wanted to become friends with them,” Karina said. “But I am extremely introverted so I would be conscious of them and was unable to talk to them first.”

Luckily, the ITZY members were the ones who reached out to Karina first.

“During this time, the ITZY members got the courage to approach me first by buying us watermelon juice, and told us ‘we want to become friends with you’. That’s how we became friends,” Karina said.

Although it’s great news for MYs and MIDZYs, Karina also revealed that she struggles to stay in contact with her new friends. She then took the chance to issue an apology to Yeji, who had been sending several unanswered text messages.

I am only fast in replying to my team members, so I don’t reply to Yeji promptly. I want to use this opportunity to apologize to her,” Karina said.

Hopefully, Yeji sees Karina’s apology and understands how busy her new friend is!
