NCT Hilariously Spotted at Real-Life Crime Scene

NCT, the popular K-pop group known for its extensive lineup and chaotic image, has often been the subject of humorous fandom jokes. NCTzens, the group’s dedicated fanbase, are known for their laidback and humorous approach to various topics, creating a playful atmosphere within the fandom. One recurring joke involves NCT always being “present” at the “crime scene,” meaning the group is somehow involved in unrelated situations. However, the joke somehow became a reality as the group made an appearance at a real-life crime scene!

NCTZENs Jokes Turn Reality: “NCT Present at Real-Life Crime Scene”

Recently, this playful joke took an unexpected turn when an actual crime, involving graffiti on a building in downtown Los Angeles, made headlines. The building in question, Oceanwide Plaza, has been under construction and incomplete since its original planned opening in 2020 due to internal issues.

The graffiti, which covered the building, received mixed reactions from locals. While some appreciated the artistic touch it gave to the abandoned structure, others were concerned about the illegal act of defacing property with graffiti. In Los Angeles, graffiti can lead to fines and potential jail time if the damage exceeds $400 USD.

What caught the attention of K-pop fans, particularly NCTzens, was a part of the graffiti that featured the letters N, C, and T on three consecutive floors of the building.

The playful fandom joke about NCT always being “present” at the “crime scene” suddenly became a humorous reality. Adding to the amusement, NCT 127, one of the subunits of NCT, has a song titled “Skyscraper,” and the building itself has 27 floors, aligning with the group’s name and numerical references.

The Truth Behind the NCT Graffiti

However, it’s crucial to note that the graffiti likely has no direct connection to the K-pop group NCT. In this case, NCT appears to stand for “Nightmares Come True,” a street graffiti crew based in Los Angeles, highlighting the importance of distinguishing fandom jokes from actual events.

The incident showcases the unique and playful dynamic between K-pop idols and their fandoms. Fans often use humor and creativity to create a shared culture within the fandom, and instances like these contribute to the lighthearted and entertaining atmosphere surrounding K-pop communities. While the building graffiti incident may not involve the K-pop group directly, NCTzens have embraced the opportunity to blend reality with their fandom jokes, showcasing the fun and interactive nature of K-pop fandoms.
