It’s official: Jihyo is preparing for her solo debut! The TWICE leader will debut as a solo artist with ‘KILLIN’ ME GOOD’ in August. Park Ji Hyo will be the second member of TWICE to release a solo since Nayeon’s solo debut last year.

Jihyo’s Solo Debut ‘KILLIN’ ME GOOD’ Confirmed For August 2023

The official TWICE social media accounts shared the new teaser for ‘KILLIN’ ME GOOD’. This time, the poster features Jihyo applying lipstick in the rearview mirror of her car. The caption reads, “ZYO’s ZONE ‘Killin’ Me Good’ Coming Soon This August.”

This confirms all the fan theories about ‘KILLIN’ ME GOOD’ since the first teaser was dropped. Fans believed that the teaser is not for a TWICE comeback. Instead, ONCEs got excited about Jihyo’s possible solo debut. Luckily, the fans were right about their hopes.

Jihyo’s solo debut is not a huge surprise for ONCEs who have been attending TWICE’s Ready To Be World Tour. During their concerts, Jihyo had been performing a previously unreleased track “Nightmare”. There have been speculations that the song will be part of her upcoming solo debut.

Park Ji Hyo will be the second member of TWICE to debut as a solo artist. In May 2022, Nayeon announced the release of her first solo EP “Im Nayeon” which was released in June of that year. The mini-album was the first album by a South Korean soloist to reach the top ten on the US Billboard 200.

TWICE is currently on the North American leg of their Ready To Be World Tour which kicks off in Inglewood, California on June 10, 2023. The US leg will conclude in Atlanta, Georgia on July 9, giving Jihyo enough time to prepare for her solo debut.

Jihyo’s solo debut ‘KILLIN’ ME GOOD’ has not yet been given an official release date in August. Stay tuned for more updates on this story.
