Do It Like That,” the much-anticipated collaboration between K-pop boy group TOMORROW X TOGETHER (TXT) and American band Jonas Brothers, is off to a good start. 

Following its release on Friday, July 7, the track has dominated the iTunes charts across the world, placing no. 1 on iTunes Top Songs charts in at least 57 different regions, including the United States, France, Mexico, and Indonesia. 

Meanwhile, it landed on the second spot in the United Kingdom, Canada, and Australia. 

Describing the single as “the summer song of 2023,” Soobin said that Do It Like That” is an “exciting song that helps [fans] beat the heat.”

Yeonjun also told Korean entertainment website Soompi that he’s in disbelief that their group has collaborated with Jonas Brothers, especially that he grew up listening to the American band’s music. 

In an exclusive interview with PEOPLE, Taehyun shared that he’s hoping that they’d have another opportunity to collaborate with Jonas Brothers again. 

Jonas Brothers were just as cool off-screen as they are on-screen. We would love to perform on stage with them in the future,” he said.

Prior to the release of the single, Joe Jonas also expressed his excitement in working with the K-pop act. “So pumped to be working with TXT! When [Ryan Tedder] brought us together for Do It Like That,’ we immediately said yes,” he tweeted. 

Joe, together with his brothers Kevin and Nick, also went on full K-pop mode as they promoted the track, and even released idol-inspired concept photos. 

Meanwhile, TXT will also be releasing their documentary Our Lost Summer on Disney+ on July 28. 

Composed of Soobin, Yeonjun, Beomgyu, Taehyun, and Huening Kai, TXT is known for songs Good Boy Gone Bad,” “Crown,” “Blue Hour,” and “Anti-Romantic.”
