WAKEONE Entertainment has commenced legal proceedings against individuals who post threatening messages to members of K-pop rookie boy group ZEROBASEONE.

In a statement released on Saturday, July 29, the agency revealed that they had filed criminal charges against several individuals who threatened the personal security of the ZEROBASEONE members by posting malicious posts online.

The label shared that they filed a criminal complaint on July 27 through the law firm SHIN&KIM against these online users as they have violated the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection.

However, WAKEONE Entertainment stressed that they won’t stop in just filing a case as they will actively monitor, report, and delete harmful posts about their artists.

The agency emphasized that they will use “all available measures” to respond to any words or actions that can cause fear, anxiety, or harm to their artists.

“We plan to respond firmly, without any settlements or leniency towards the suspects in question,” they declared.

Additionally, WAKEONE Entertainment encouraged fans and the public to continue sending reports to their official email address about any instance that poses a threat to ZEROBASEONE’s welfare.

The agency also assured the group’s fans that they will do their best to protect their artists moving forward.
