VIVIZ Cancels Upcoming Appearance Due To Members’ Poor Health

VIVIZ is taking a break for the rest of the month. The three-member girl group have cancelled upcoming schedules due to the girls’ poor health.

VIVIZ Takes A Break Due To Eunha, SinB, and Umji’s Poor Health

BPM Entertainment shared a statement on the group’s official fan cafe. The agency confirmed that Eunha, SinB, and Umji have cancelled their remaining schedule for the month.

“Due to the poor health conditions of the VIVIZ members, we have decided to cancel [VIVIZ’s participation] in the ‘SBS Cultwo Show Power Concert’ scheduled for April 29,” the statement reads. “We will do our best to help the fast recovery of our artists.”

The agency also asked for Na.Vs’ understanding of the cancelled appearances.

VIVIZ had previously cancelled their schedule to participate in the ‘Grammys Museum’ interview and red carpet due to poor health conditions. Although they performed at the ‘We Bridge Music Festival & Expo Concert’ as scheduled, only Eunha attended the Hi-Touch event afterwards.

BPM Entertainment has yet to disclose the members’ health conditions. However, SinB’s absence is also believed to be connected to the recent passing of her best friend ASTRO singer Moonbin.

SinB Misses Moon Bin’s Funeral Due To Scheduled Appearance

SinB and Moonbin were childhood friends who grew up together and kept in touch for 18 years. Unfortunately, the former GFriend member was unable to attend Moon Bin’s funeral due to a prior schedule. VIVIZ’s performance at the ‘We Bridge Music Festival & Expo Concert’ took place at the same time as Moonbin’s funeral.

VIVIZ consists of former GFriend members Eunha, SinB, and Umji. The group debuted in February 2022 with their first extended play ‘Beam of Prism’. They participated in the MNET reality competition “Queendom”, finishing in third place in the finals.

VIVIZ’s most recent EP ‘Various’ is their third mini-album. It was released in January 2023 with the title track “Pull Up”.

Cha Eun Woo also wrote a sweet letter for Moonbin.

“Bin-ah. I really miss you tonight. You bad friend. I couldn’t sleep so Sanha and I came by on a little walk. Are you getting some good sleep? All of those things I used to do with you, the most ordinary things, the most trivial things, I miss it all so much and I regret it all so much…” he wrote.

“I’m putting effort to smile just as you told me to. I’m going to start practicing for musicals and I’ll also eat your share of food too. I’ll care for your mom, dad, and Sua, so don’t worry. I love you so much. My younger brother,” he added.

IU Opens Up About Lee Jong Suk as a ‘Supportive’ Boyfriend

IU is finally opening up about her relationship with Lee Jong Suk. The “Strawberry Moon” singer confirmed that the “Big Mouth” actor is a supportive boyfriend. She also discussed the true reason why she chose to work on her new film “Dream”. In addition to that, the multi-hyphenated artist spoke about filming scenes with co-star Park Seo Joon.

IU Discusses Her Relationship With Lee Jong Suk

Lee Ji-eun is currently promoting “Dream” ahead of its premiere. During one interview, she addressed photos taken during her recent concert where Lee Jong Suk was wearing IU merchandise. The 29-year-old actress revealed that her boyfriend got the same merchandise as other concert-goers.

“He came to the concert, and those items are what we distributed to all those who came to the concert. It wasn’t a special gift for Lee Jong Suk or anything, but it got a lot of spotlight,” she said.

IU confessed her surprise that people were so interested in her relationship with Lee Jong Suk.

“I’m surprised that [so many people] show interest in my relationship and cheer me on a lot. I think fondly and quietly keeping this relationship going is the best way to repay that love,” she said.

Here’s Why IU Chose To Work on ‘Dream’

The “Eight” singer also revealed why she accepted her latest project.

“It was about four years ago when I first received the script. At that time, I had a strong thirst for [taking on] a bright character because I had done a few dark characters with lots of backstories in a row. I couldn’t help but be attracted to the character So Min,” IU said.

She then discussed how Park Seo Joon made it easy to work on “Dream”.

“I had high expectations for filming together [with Park Seo Joon],” IU said. “Park Seo Joon is a flexible and quick-witted actor. We started filming with some nervousness without having talked much in private, but it was rather comfortable once filming started. Since the relationship between So Min and Hong Dae is not so good, I think a little bit of nervousness helped.”

“Dream” is directed by Lee Byeong-heon and follows Yoon Hong-dae (Park), a football player, who receives a disciplinary provision. As punishment, he is tasked with coaching the national football team of homeless people for the Homeless World Cup. The film hits theaters on April 26, 2023.

‘D-Day’ is finally out and fans are loving every track on the new album by BTS rapper Suga. Agust D also made sure people understood his mindset while working on the LP by releasing a special documentary. In “SUGA: Road to D-Day”, the rapper explained the emotional meaning behind the track “AMYGDALA”.

SUGA Explains ‘AMYGDALA’ To Fellow BTS Member Jimin

In “SUGA: Road to D-Day”, Suga works on new music while filming for “In The Soop 2”. Min Yoongi is in the process of writing a new track when Jimin checks on him. Agust D lets his fellow BTS member listen to the song and then explains its strange title.

“There’s a thing called an ‘amygdala.’ Your brain stores all of your unpleasant memories in the amygdala,” he confirms. Suga adds that it does this “so you can prepare yourself for those types of situations in the future.”

He then reveals that writing the song is difficult because it deals with personal memories like his accident and his parents’ illnesses.

“I have massive mood swings whenever I’m working on this song. To work on it, I have to bring up some of my unpleasant memories,” Min Yoongi said. However, he also points out that this is “a very important process to learn to control those memories.”

“AMYGDALA” is an emotional track where Suga brings up the accident where he incurred a shoulder injury. It also addresses his mother’s heart surgery and his father’s liver cancer diagnosis. The song confronts the painful memories but he also begs his amygdala to erase the sad moments.

‘SUGA: Road to D-Day’ follow Min Yoongi as he finds inspiration to work on the new album. The documentary also featured the BTS rapper’s interactions with artists around the world. It is now streaming on Weverse and Disney+.

BLACKPINK’s Jisoo Shares How She Deals With English Interviews

Jisoo is proving yet again that she is a truly clever girl. The “Flower” singer revealed how she skillfully gets through BLACKPINK’s English interviews without breaking a sweat.

Jisoo Reveals Why BLACKPINK’s English-Language Interviews Are Easy For Her

Jisoo is currently promoting her debut solo single and touring with BLACKPINK on their BORN PINK World Tour. That means a lot of international promotions and multiple English-language interviews for the girl group.

But does this mean Kim Ji-soo has been practicing her English all this time? The “Snowdrop” star answered the question on Park Myung Soo’s YouTube show. When the host asked if she speaks English well these days, Jisoo simply said, “Nope!”

She explained that she chooses not to speak much but Park Myung Soo insisted that she could but Jisoo stated that she doesn’t “care to speak.”

There’s a great explanation for why Kim Ji-soo doesn’t think it’s necessary for her to speak up. She pointed out that BLACKPINK has other members who are fluent in English.

“We have members who are much better,” she said. “So I don’t really need to (talk).”

It’s a sensible and hilarious answer from Jisoo who is the only member of BLACKPINK who didn’t live overseas prior to their debut. Jennie studied in New Zealand while Rosé grew up in Australia. The group’s maknae Lisa was born and raised in Thailand and is fluent in Thai, Korean, and English.

With the other members handling the international interviews, Jisoo still gets to steal the show. She demonstrated how to act during interviews like giving the thumbs up and clapping along.

The BLACKPINK singer also proved how relatable she is by admitting that she uses the Korean translation app Papago when ordering food overseas.

Jisoo is promoting her solo single album “Me”. She is also touring with the rest of BLACKPINK on the BORN PINK World Tour which recently added encore shows in the US.
