Netflix unveiled on Wednesday, July 26, the participants for its upcoming survival game show The Devil’s Plan.

The Devil’s Plan will follow 12 contestants – ranging from celebrities, athletes to non-showbiz personalities – as they go against each other in various mind-boggling games while staying in a camp for a week. The brainiest player who will survive all games will be declared the winner and win a prize of P500 million Korean won.

The contestants include Ha Seok Jin from The Problematic Men series, comedian-host Park Kyung Lim, Boo Seungkwan of K-pop idol group SEVENTEEN, professional go player Cho Yeon Woo, actress and inventor Lee Si Won, announcer Lee Hye Sung, lawyer Seo Dong Joo, Canadian gamer and professional poker player Guillaume Patry, former Blue House policy advisor turned science YouTuber Kwedo, and travel vlogger Kwak Joon Bin.

The Devil’s Plan also introduced two non-celebrity contestants: American orthopedic surgeon Seo Yoo Min and college student turned professional poker player Kim Dong Jae. The two were chosen through an open recruitment that the show held.

The show will be directed by Jung Jong Yeon, who is already known for his hit mystery and survival shows such as Great Escape, The Genius, and High School Mystery Club. The Devil’s Plan is his first collaboration with Netflix.

Additional details such as the number of episodes and release date for The Devil’s Plan have yet to be announced.

The Devil’s Plan is the latest of Netflix’s survival game shows. They also have a zombie-themed survival variety series titled Zombieverse, that will premiere on April 8.
