BigHit Music recently shed light on the details of Golden Live on Stage, a special event set for November 20 to mark the release of Jungkook‘s solo album, Golden. This exclusive gathering, limited to 500 attendees, is a unique opportunity for fans to engage with BTS’ youngest member in an intimate setting.

The event, described by BigHit Music as an album showcase, will feature Jungkook performing tracks from Golden. The setlist will include the hits “Seven (feat. Latto)” and “3D (feat. Jack Harlow),” which was released two weeks ago. However, the opportunity to attend is reserved for members of the official fan club—in other words, those with an ARMY membership—or those who bought a copy of the album via Weverse Shop Global.

Golden Live on Stage will take place at the Jangchung Arena in Seoul. The raffle system will select 500 lucky fans from the many ARMY Membership holders to attend this special event. Organizers will group attendees for roll call according to their assigned numbers. Those with numbers 1-250 must check in from 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM, and those with numbers 251-500 from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM. Latecomers will not receive entry, so attendees must arrive on time. Importantly, these check-in numbers are only for verifying attendance and do not determine seating order. Seating will be random, and attendees should avoid forming lines based on check-in numbers.

More on ‘Golden Live on Stage’

Before entering the venue, attendees must present an ID and a QR code from the Weverse app. For Korean nationals, acceptable IDs include a youth ID card, residence card, driver’s license, or certain mobile IDs. Non-Koreans may bring a passport or residence card. Student IDs, photocopies, and mobile ID screenshots are unacceptable. The IDs they present must match the details they gave in their applications. Those with non-English names may need additional verification. Along with their IDs, attendees should also bring the official BTS lightstick, otherwise known as the ARMY Bomb.

If you want to attend this event, act quickly. The application window opened at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, October 10, and will close at 3:00 PM on Thursday, October 12. ARMY Membership holders aged 14 and above can apply, but they can submit only one application. Those with multiple or unauthorized applications will be disqualified. For security reasons, BigHit Music discourages sharing screenshots of applications. Only those whose applications follow the proper format will be eligible. Applicants must also consent to the collection and use of their data. They will announce the lucky winners after 6:00 PM on Friday, October 13.

With the Golden Live on Stage applications already underway, ARMYs filling out the form are now hoping to be among the chosen ones. – K-Pop News Writer

MAMAMOO’s Hwasa Reportedly Visited a Bridal Shop

Is Hwa Sa tying the knot soon? The MAMAMOO member has raised eyebrows and sparked speculation about her relationship status following an intriguing visit to a prominent bridal shop in Seoul. In addition to that, Hwasa’s cheeky note for the establishment seemingly confirmed she will soon be off the market!

Hwa Sa Pays Unexpected Visit To A Bridal Shop

On October 10, 2023, Bridal Kong, a prestigious bridal boutique in the South Korean capital, posted a photograph of Hwasa’s autograph, and the artist expressed her gratitude to the store in her note. “To Bridal Kong, a place which gives you wings. Thank you,” the MAMAMOO member wrote.

In her autograph, Hwasa made a subtle reference to a Korean saying that suggests the right dress can give one wings. The bridal shop reciprocated with thanks to Hwasa for her visit, accompanied by an unexpected addition – a winking face emoji in their social media tags.

The use of the winking emoji alongside promotional tags for the store and its brands has fueled speculation about Hwasa’s intentions. While many celebrities often rent bridal gowns for high-profile events and red carpet appearances, these gowns are typically custom-designed for such occasions due to their extravagant nature. With the year-end season approaching, some suggest that Hwasa may have visited the shop to seek attire for a gala concert or an event.

However, it is worth noting that celebrities often do not personally visit shops for such arrangements. Instead, stylists typically bring a selection of options to the artist’s private studio. Therefore, it is relatively unusual to see celebrities physically visiting bridal shops for such orders.

Hwasa’s visit to the bridal shop has ignited curiosity and speculation, particularly in light of her known five-year relationship with an older businessman who is 12 years her senior. This visit raises questions about the nature of her relationship and potential future plans, including the possibility of wedding bells. It remains to be seen whether this is a casual fitting for work or a hint at more personal developments in Hwasa’s life.

SM Entertainment Criticized for Its Mismanagement of NCT 127’s ‘Fact Check’ Comeback

Comebacks are generally an exciting time for K-pop fans. Although NCTzens had high anticipation for NCT 127’s Fact Check album, the excitement was immediately cut short due to SM Entertainment’s alleged poor management of the group.

NCT 127 returns with ‘Fact Check’

On October 6, NCT 127 unveiled their fifth full-length album Fact Check. Consisting of a total of nine tracks, the album received a warm response due to the group’s distinct musical style. However, fans were perplexed to see the significant drop of the album sales as compared to the group’s previous records.

According to a Korean Sales Tracker, Fact Check recorded sales of 256,800 copies on its first day. Then, for its following days, it even recorded less sales ranging from 6,000 to 15,000 each day.

The numbers showed a shocking change in contrast to the group’s previous albums. In 2021, Sticker achieved an impressive 2.4 Million first-week sales. Meanwhile, 2 Baddies recorded a remarkable 1.5 Million copies within the initial week.

NCTzens criticism towards SM Entertainment

With the drastic difference, the group’s fanbase, NCTzens, were quick to call out SM Entertainment for their historical problem with mismanaging stocks.

According to fans, the insufficient production of the album has caused delays in delivering the products to the public.

Additionally, NCTzens took their disappointment to social media and demanded better service by trending the hashtag #RestockFactCheckAlbums.

https://twitter.com/joyin127/status/1710833092209070269

Moreover, NCTzens were frustrated to learn that NCT 127 would not be performing on popular music shows including MCountdown and Inkigayo on the first week of their comeback, limiting the supposed promotion for the album.

Aside from that, fans were also enraged with the sudden delay of release of Fact Check’s official music video. Supposedly released at 1PM, the video was pushed back to 3PM last October 6.

Following the postponement, SM Entertainment released an apology for keeping fans waiting. However, NCTzens were more disappointed to see that even the notice was delayed. According to the fanbase, this is not the first time NCT’s releases have been postponed.

Amidst the backlash SM Entertainment is facing, the agency has yet to make an official statement regarding the fans’ complaints.
