He might be a movie star but Park Seo Joon is just like the rest of us. The star of “The Marvels” has just confirmed that he admires his fellow South Korean superstars. Park admitted his love for BTS and opened up about how he prepares for difficult acting roles.

Park Seo Joon Announces His Love for BTS

On October 14, the celebrated actor Park Seo Joon conducted an exclusive press conference in preparation for his highly-anticipated fan meeting as the brand ambassador for ‘IAM Worldwide’ in Manila, Philippines.

During the event, Park expressed his gratitude for the warm welcome he received from the moment he arrived at the airport. He shared that what he missed most about the country was the opportunity to meet his fans in person, highlighting the deep connection he has with his Filipino supporters.

During the Q&A with fans, the actor was asked what kind of music style he loved to listen to during a long drive. Not surprisingly, Park Seo Joon said, “I love BTS.” It’s an awesome response considering he previously worked with good friend and fellow Wooga Squad member Kim Taehyung aka BTS’s V in “Jinny’s Kitchen”.

While working with people he likes should be easy, not all of Park Seo Joon’s projects are a walk in the park. The “Dream” star was also how he prepares for a role which would mean understanding a character. Park’s response was thoughtful and insightful.

“If we were to talk about this, I think we need a lot of time,” he said. “Let’s say, for example, I received the role of a 35-year-old doctor. In the scenario itself, I only get to check that he’s already a doctor, but for me, as an actor, it’s my responsibility to try to think about what caused this or how he became a doctor and what he went through.”

“I will try my best to take all the information I can get from that,” Park continued. “However, when I see some missing spots, as an actor, I think it’s my responsibility to fill them up myself.

Park Seo Joon is currently set to debut as Prince Yan in the Marvel Cinematic Universe sequel “The Marvels”, which will hit theaters on November 10, 2023.
