Dex, known for his participation in “Singles Inferno 2” and as a YouTuber, has issued a strict notice to malicious comments, indicating potential legal action. His agency Kick the Huddle Studio released a statement addressing the slander, defamation, and sexual harassment Dex has faced online, affirming their intention to take action against such behavior.

Dex’s Agency Issues Statement Against Malicious Comments

The statement emphasized that Kick The Huddle Studio would actively monitor suspected malicious comments, and if instances of slander or sexual harassment persist, they would pursue legal measures.

We are taking strong action against cases of slander, false information, sexual harassment, personal attacks, defamation, and malicious comments related to our creator Kim Jin Young (Dex), impersonation of our agency and our associates, that are being spread on social media by exploiting anonymity,” the statement read.

The announcement comes amid a broader controversy surrounding the promotion of the Japanese manga and anime “Made In Abyss”, in which Dex and other celebrities faced criticism for endorsing content deemed disturbing and problematic by some viewers.

Dex previously addressed the issue during a press conference for MBC’s “Adventure By Accident” Season 3. “Please do not worry too much,” he had said. “I believe that the issue was caused by differences in perspectives, as we all have lived different lives and have different experiences.”

“I have lived a well-grounded life up until now,” Dex continued. “But what I considered unproblematic may still be viewed as problematic by others, and so I will make sure to be cautious in that regard from now on. I will continue to live a grounded life, while making adjustments as not to concern others, including my fans who were worried about me.”

Despite the controversy, Dex has experienced increasing popularity, propelled by his appearance on “Singles Inferno 2”. He has become a rising YouTuber and established himself as a notable TV personality, featuring in popular shows like MBC’s “Adventure By Accident”. The notice to take legal action also underscores the seriousness with which Dex and his agency are approaching online harassment and defamation, aiming to protect Dex’s reputation and well-being in the face of unwarranted attacks.
