BTS Will Publish Their Own Book This Summer

BTS is getting ready to tell their story. The South Korean supergroup will publish a new book chronicling their decade-long journey to superstardom. The highly anticipated tome will also be released on a special day for ARMYs.

BTS Announces Their Own Tell-All Book Dropping This Summer

Publishing house Flatiron Books has finally revealed the mystery book simply known as “4C Untitled Flatiron Nonfiction Summer 2023”. The publisher officially announced “Beyond the Story: 10-Year Record of BTS” written by journalist Kang Myeongseok and the seven members of the group.

“Beyond the Story: 10-Year Record of BTS” will be structured as “an oral history of” the group’s story. Anton Hur is responsible for the English translation, in collaboration with Clare Richards and Slin Jung.

The book is going to be a special gift for fans this year. It was originally expected to be announced on June 13 (BTS’ debut date). It has also been confirmed that “Beyond the Story: 10-Year Record of BTS” will be released on July 9, which is the day the group officially announced their fandom.

Basically, BTS will publish the memoir on ARMY’s birthday. It’s a fitting present for all fans, whether they have been with the group since their debut or have recently joined the fandom.

People initially believed that the mystery book is about Taylor Swift. The “I Knew You Were Trouble” singer’s fans pre-ordered the title in droves, causing it to become a bestseller on the Amazon and Barnes & Noble websites earlier this week.

“Beyond the Story: 10-Year Record of BTS” will be 544 pages and include exclusive photographs. The book will feature never-before-seen images of RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V and Jungkook. According to Flatiron Books, the highly-anticipated memoir will have “global appeal” and “massive publicity.”

BTS will publish “Beyond the Story: 10-Year Record of BTS” on July 9, 2023.

BTS’ J-Hope Sends Sweet Message for Parents While in Military Service

J-Hope might be serving his country right now but he is always looking out for Mom and Dad. The BTS main dancer unveiled some cute artwork for Parents Day. The artwork also includes a sweet message for his mother and father.

J-Hope Shares Adorable Drawing and Heartfelt Message for Parents’ Day

The Camp is a special website where people can stay updated with loved ones serving in the Korean military. On May 7, the website shared a photo of J-Hope showing off an adorable drawing for Parents’ Day. The illustration also features a sweet message for Jung Hoseok’s parents.

“Mom, Dad, I’m greeting you in celebration of Parents’ Day,” he wrote. “Thank you for giving birth to and raising me. I love you. Your son, Hoseok.

It’s a sweet message that would make J-Hope’s mother and father truly proud. In addition to that, the illustration is extra special as it was drawn by the “On The Street” rapper just for Mom and Dad.

Although J-Hope was able to share a heartfelt message to his parents, it looks like he is having trouble contacting his fellow BTS member. Jin previously posted a message under the rapper’s latest update on Weverse.

“Have you not been able to call? Because you have been reading the room. Have you received the letters that I have sent well?” Jin wrote under a fan’s comment. He also joked about keeping an eye on his dongsaeng.

Are you hurt anywhere? Have you shaved your friends’ hair? Is the food that is served there good? There’s a long time to go until you get a vacation,” Kim Seokjin wrote. “I’m spending my military life looking at you.

J-Hope enlisted for mandatory military service on April 18, about four months after Jin’s enlistment. He is then expected to be discharged by October 17, 2024.

Coldplay’s Chris Martin Reveals How BTS’ Jin Inspires His Life

The friendship between Chris Martin and Jin continues to be a strong one. The Coldplay singer has just revealed how the BTS member serves as an inspiration in his life.

Chris Martin Opens Up About His Friendship With BTS’ Jin

The official Coldplay Twitter account recently shared a clip of Chris Martin talking about working with Jin. The clip, which is from the film “Coldplay – Music Of The Spheres: Live at River Plate”, features the singer admitting he just loves Jin.

“When we were planning the Buenos Aires shows, it just happened to coincide with Jin having to go into the army in South Korea,” Martin said. “We did it because I really love that guy, the way he moves forward without hesitation when he thinks it’s right.”

“It’s inspiring in my life,” he added. “I love that man. I love the stuff, the story of it, the weirdness of that relationship and how it’s become so natural.”

“It sort of inspires me across my life to lean into something that might be unusual if it feels right,” Martin continued.

The friendship between Jin and Chris Martin started when BTS and Coldplay collaborated on the song “My Universe” in 2021. Martin and his band also co-wrote Jin’s single “The Astronaut” which was released before the BTS member enlisted for military service.

Coldplay gave Kim Seokjin the chance to perform “The Astronaut” live during one of their concerts. Jin appeared as a special guest during the group’s concert at the Estadio River Plate Stadium in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The concert also coincided with the single’s release date and the performance was the first time fans got to hear the song live.

Kim Seokjin enlisted for mandatory military service on December 13, 2022. He will serve as an active-duty soldier for 18 months and will be discharged on June 12, 2024. “Coldplay – Music of the Spheres: Live at River Plate” was released on April 19, 2023.

RM Shares Honest Feelings Ahead of BTS’ 10th Anniversary

RM is sharing his feelings with ARMYs as BTS draws closer to a major milestone. The BTS leader posted an honest message addressed to his fans. Interestingly, the message reveals how he feels about the group’s 10th anniversary.

RM Reveals Feelings About BTS’ 10th Anniversary

Kim Namjoon recently posted a lengthy update on Weverse. In his post, the BTS rapper greeted ARMYs before sharing his feelings about the 10th anniversary.

“Hello everyone. It’s been a long time. Hope you all are doing well. I’m getting along all right, just trying my best to live in the present,” RM wrote.

“These days I am discovering more about who I am,” he added. “There are times when there are an endless amount of words I want to say, but I forget them quickly. It’s been ten years since we came out to the world. How are you guys? Are you ok?”

“Sometimes, no, often times, I wonder. How you’re doing, your thoughts, hope and despair, what you believe in now, what you want to believe, what you are chasing, if you feel the seasons well,” RM continued. “As I’ve said several times before, it’s getting harder and harder to open my mouth. I don’t know. I guess I am learning to be more silent as I become an adult.”

“Many sad things become happy, and happy things become sad. I sometimes feel unfamiliar when I watch the videos and words I have said in the past. I can hardly remember anymore,” he added. “It’s strange that these things are becoming dull and sad, and empty. The confidence that I’ve had sometimes disappears. I guess this is just how I am right now.

I’m curious and afraid of what it will be like after I return. Time goes by so fast, and everything changes, even me,” RM wrote. “I don’t want to ask for all the love irresponsibly, and I don’t want to cling to you. Rather than wandering around looking for love, if I stay in love and I put in the effort, I want to believe that love will come to me naturally.

RM Expresses Gratitude For ARMYs’ Ongoing Support for BTS

RM then pointed out that BTS’ 10th anniversary is coming and expressed his feelings of gratitude to his supporters.

“It’s our ten-year anniversary soon. It’s sad that there are things that are getting more and more difficult as the dust piles over time and our hearts. But in a way, maybe that’s just how it is with the weight of our hearts. That means that the pieces we’ve shared are that big,” he wrote. “I am humbled and give thanks every day. I will continue to reminisce about what was a part of me, and as always, I will be fine. Will have been pp (passive participle).”

It is noted that the last line “will have been pp (past participle)” implies he is good, he is doing good, and that he will be doing good.

RM concluded with a sweet message for ARMYs.

“Although you will have a lot of hard times, and it may be very painful, please be well! I will be curious sometimes and often! My words and my letters are the way I give you my love,” he wrote. “This is my current state now. Be careful of the rain and cold! By the time you forget about me again, I will find you again. Stay healthy!

Kim Namjoon had previously confirmed he intended to enlist for military service at the same time as J-Hope. However, the BTS leader chose to delay his enlistment to finish a project.

“I was actually planning to enlist around the same time as J-Hope but I had to push it back because of this project,” he said.

BTS will celebrate their 10th anniversary since debut on June 12, 2023.

Interestingly, Jin replied to the post. But instead of addressing the ARMY, his comment is actually a message for J-Hope.

“Are you getting <soaked> in the rain? Are you using the px (store)? Have you not gained weight?” Jin asked. He then questioned whether J-Hope has tried to contact him or received his letters.

“Have you not been able to call? Because you have been reading the room. Have you received the letters that I have sent well?” he continued. Jin then went full hyung mode by asking if his dongsaeng is OK.

Are you hurt anywhere? Have you shaved your friends’ hair? Is the food that is served there good? There’s a long time to go until you get a vacation,” he wrote. Jin then concluded his message with a line that had 2seok aficionados smiling.

I’m spending my military life looking at you,” he wrote.

BTS’ Jungkook Warns Sasaengs To Stop Sending Food To His House

Jungkook has had enough of sasaengs. The BTS member issued a warning to “fans” who have been making food deliveries to his house. Jeon Jungkook made it clear that he is ready to take legal action against people sending food to his private address.

What Are ‘Sasaengs’?

Sasaengs are “fans” of celebrities who resort to stalking in an effort to be close to their idols. These people (mostly illegally) obtain private information like the idol’s phone number, address, and schedule. They then use the information to make contact with the idol, like visiting them or sending food to their home.

Jungkook Urges People To Stop Sending Food To His House Or Face Legal Action

This is exactly what has been happening to Jungkook. On May 4, the BTS maknae posted an update on the fan community Weverse to issue a warning to sasaengs.

The “Dreamers” singer revealed that some people have been sending food to his house. He told them to stop doing this or else he will take legal action against them.

Do not send food delivery to my house,” Jungkook wrote. “I will not eat it even if you send it.”

“While I am thankful for the thought, I eat well, so buy it for yourself,” he continued. “I ask of you. If you send it one more time, I will look up the receipt order number and take action. So please stop.”

It is unclear how the sasaengs obtained Jungkook’s address but the thought that they have the information is unsettling. With that in mind, it is understandable why he is ready to take legal action just to ensure his own safety.

In related news, Jungkook was once again praised by Gianni Infantino. The FIFA president reminisced about the 2023 FIFA World Cup and called Jungkook’s performance “the best opening ceremony.”

‘Suchwita’ Host Suga Calls SEVENTEEN’s Woozi His Younger Brother

It finally happened! BTS’ Suga and SEVENTEEN’s Woozi got together for the latest episode of “Suchwita” to beat the doppelganger allegations. Lee Jihoon impressed Min Yoongi so much that the “Haegeum” rapper called him his “younger brother.”

Suga Meets ‘Younger Brother’ Woozi in ‘Suchwita’ Episode 10

In “Suchwita” Episode 10, Suga hyped up the arrival of his next guest. The BTS rapper claimed that “so many people are looking forward to seeing this two-shot.” This is a reference to the similarities between him and Woozi, who shares similar features and is also a gifted producer like Suga.

When Woozi arrived, he presented Suga with gifts and they immediately addressed the elephant in the room. Suga revealed that fellow BTS member RM had brought up a common belief about doppelgangers and worried about their meeting.

“My members kept asking me who the next guest on ‘Suchwita’ was so when I told them it was you, Woozi, RM said ‘Won’t you die if you two meet?’ I asked why, and he said ‘You two are doppelgangers, aren’t you?’” Suga said.

Min Yoongi also admitted to playing up the similarities between him and Woozi. He confirmed he had their hair styled similarly for the “Haegeum” TikTok challenge video they did together.

It was immediately clear that the two had a great connection. Suga pointed out that Woozi feels like family to him.

“Although I don’t have a younger brother, he’s like a younger brother. I feel like I’m looking into a mirror. I can see myself in you when I was around 16 or 17,” Suga said.

Woozi quickly agreed, saying, Suga “feels like an older brother too.” Needless to say, ARMYs and CARATs are already looking forward to a possible collaboration between the two.

The latest episode of “Suchwita” is out now. Suga is currently on the road for his first world tour the ‘Suga Agust D Tour’. Meanwhile, Woozi is promoting SEVENTEEN’s new album ‘FML’.

FIFA President Says Jungkook’s Performance Was Best World Cup Opening Ceremony Ever

BTS’ Jungkook continues to impress Gianni Infantino. The FIFA president has once again expressed his admiration for the “Dreamers” singer. Infantino claims that Jungkook’s performance at the 2022 FIFA World Cup is the best opening ceremony ever.

Jungkook Praised By FIFA President Gianni Infantino For ‘Best Opening Ceremony’

Gianni Infantino recently posted about the 2022 FIFA World Cup, celebrating the event’s success back in December. In his post, the president of the sports federation reminisced about announcing the World Cup’s opening. Infantino also shared memorable images from the event including a photo of Jungkook performing during the opening ceremony.

“Five months ago today, I had the privilege of announcing the opening of the FIFA World Cup 2022 in Qatar and what a great spectacle it turned out to be!” Infantino wrote. He added, “The BEST opening ceremony was followed by the BEST FIFA World Cup ever!

Jungkook wrote the song “Dreamers” for the 2022 FIFA World Cup. He released the song ahead of the event before performing the single with Qatari singer Fahad Al Kubaisi at the opening ceremony. The BTS maknae is the first South Korean artist to sing an official theme for the World Cup and perform at an opening ceremony at the same time. The opening ceremony also featured appearances from veteran actor Morgan Freeman and Qatari YouTuber Ghanim Al-Muftah.

This isn’t the first time that Gianni Infantino has praised Jungkook’s performance at the World Cup. In December 2022, the FIFA president called the “Left and Right” singer “incredible” and claimed his performance was “truly remarkable.”

Jeon Jungkook has been busy since his performance at the 2022 FIFA World Cup opening ceremony last year. He was recently announced as the new global ambassador for American fashion house Calvin Klein. The BTS maknae is actively promoting the brand and appears in the current campaigns for Calvin Klein Jeans and Calvin Klein Underwear.

BTS’ Jin Referenced in Disney+’s ‘Doogie Kamealoha, M.D.’

Doogie Kamealoha is an ARMY and she has her facts straight. The Disney+ series just referenced BTS in its latest episode and not surprisingly, Jin took the spotlight yet again.

‘Doogie Kamealoha, M.D.’ Namedrops BTS’ Jin For Perfect Lips

“Doogie Kamealoha, M.D.” is a Disney+ series following Lahela “Doogie” Kameāloha, a teen prodigy pursuing a medical career. The show has its own comedic way of dropping pop-culture references through the recurring character Dr. Lee and not surprisingly, he has strong opinions about the members of BTS.

In “Doogie Kamealoha, M.D.” Season 2 Episode 3, Lahela interacts with Dr. Lee, who advises her to get back to her “teen girl vacation.” The heart surgeon went as far as suggesting an adolescent argument about which BTS member has the best lips.

Interestingly, Dr. Lee himself claims that it’s Jin and Lahela quickly agrees. Dr. Lee doesn’t show it but he’s pleased that he got the right answer. “I would have made a great teenage girl,” he tells himself.

Dr. Lee, who is played by comedian Ronny Chieng, always makes funny references to teen culture in the show. However, this is the first time he has mentioned BTS and it’s awesome to see that Jin is the one thing he and Lahela agree on.

Jin is currently on mandatory military service. He enlisted as an active-duty soldier on December 13, 2022. Before his enlistment, Kim Seokjin released his debut solo single “The Astronaut”. The song, which he co-wrote with the British rock band Coldplay, was dropped on October 28, 2022.

Jin also supported fellow BTS member J-Hope when the latter received his notice for military enlistment. Jung Hoseok previously revealed that his hyung reached out to him as soon as he got his notice and offered some advice.

All 10 episodes of “Doogie Kamealoha, M.D.” Season 2 are now streaming on Disney+.

ARMYs Reveal Details About V’s Final Day of Filming ‘Jinny’s Kitchen’

V has shown off a different side of himself by joining the cast of the reality cooking show. In “Jinny’s Kitchen”, Kim Taehyung served as one of Lee Seo-jin‘s interns as he opened a restaurant in Bacalar, Mexico. The BTS member managed to keep a low profile while filming for the series. However, ARMYs are now coming forward with awesome behind-the-scenes stories as the show comes to an end.

Several fans managed to visit the “Jinny’s Kitchen” location in Bacalar. They confirmed that V treated them well on the last day of filming, sending food for ARMYs who were waiting. But best of all, Kim Taehyung gave fans a special treat by performing the “Run BTS” dance challenge.

V had previously opened up about his decision to join the tvN series. According to the “Sweet Night” singer, he was influenced by his friends Park Seo Joon and Choi Woo Shik, who also appear in “Jinny’s Kitchen”.

“Watching a variety show as a viewer and appearing on one are different experiences,” he told Elle Korea. “But this time, I was able to appear with close friends, and their positive reviews made me decide to join the show.“

Working with his fellow Wooga Squad members certainly made it easier for V to film the show. In the same interview, Kim Taehyung also admitted that he is interested in working on his own music.  However, he addressed that writing solo songs is not easy.

“Having ambition is what keeps me going,” V said. “Completing one song that I like is a difficult task. There are times when I feel like giving up, but I keep trying.”
