TWICE’s Mina Dishes on Important Skin Care Tips

Throughout this year, Mina has maintained a whirlwind schedule. As a member of TWICE, she expertly juggled group activities, participated in MISAMO’s unit debut in Japan, and fulfilled her role as the global ambassador for the skincare brand SK-II. Amid her hectic agenda, Mina has found time to generously share her skincare wisdom, enabling ONCEs to replicate her skin care routines in the comfort of their homes.

MISAMO Member Mina Wants Fans To Take Care of Their Skin

In a recent development, Mina had the opportunity to explore the SK-II SECRET KEY HOUSE exhibition in Japan last month. This captivating pop-up experience unveiled the best-kept secrets of SK-II. Following her visit, Soompi caught up with Mina to delve into her impressions and glean insights into her personal skin care regimen.

Mina described her visit to the SK-II SECRET KEY HOUSE as nothing short of “incredible and immersive.” She found it utterly fascinating to uncover the mysteries surrounding PITERA, SK-II’s signature ingredient. Moreover, the exhibition presented groundbreaking scientific discoveries regarding the causes of seasonal skin issues, enlightening Mina about how her skin responds to the changing seasons. Her firsthand encounter with these revelations undoubtedly adds depth to her skincare expertise, which she generously imparts to her fans.

Mina addressed how her skin’s condition changes with the seasons. “While my skin definitely experiences more dryness during winter, I’ve also noticed that my skin can be dry during summer as well, especially when I spend a lot of time indoors in air conditioning,” she said, “I pay more attention to keeping my skin hydrated with moisturizers and face masks [during summer and winter].”

For fans who are struggling with their skin, Mina had some great advice. “Knowing your skin condition is essential because it helps you to understand how to help your skin,” she said. “I recommend trying out a contactless skin diagnostics and counseling session with the SK-II Magic Scan, which has been very beneficial for me.”

“Personally, my favorite feature of the Magic Scan is that it tells you your skin age,” Mina continued. “I tend to get nervous about my skin age whenever I use the Magic Scan, but it always comes back with positive results!”

She added, “Apart from skincare, do drink lots of water and take the time for sufficient rest. These seem like simple tips, but trust me, they are effective!

These are all great tips and there is little doubt that ONCEs will be taking them all to heart. In the meantime, Mina is expected to continue promoting with TWICE this year.

One fan inquired about how her fellow group members reacted to her new single, leading Hyoyeon to candidly illuminate the group’s real dynamic. She disclosed that, in reality, they don’t closely monitor each other’s individual schedules due to their incredibly busy lives. The revelation sheds light on the challenges of maintaining close connections within a highly active and dynamic group like GIRLS’ GENERATION, where each member is pursuing their individual endeavors. HYO’s candid response provides valuable insight into the realities of maintaining strong bonds within a large, busy group.

“We have reached a decision to file an appeal against the dismissal of our application for an injunction aimed at suspending the validity of the exclusive contracts,” the statement read. “The appeal will be officially filed soon”

“The court, in its ruling, pointed out the lack of transparency regarding the settlement structure for music and sound source income, as well as the details and items of the advance payment paid by the music producer for the creation of FIFTY FIFTY’s music. SEVENTEEN’s Jun Reveals Heartwarming Story Behind ‘Lie Lie Lie’ Cover

JUN might be an established K-pop idol now but there was a time when the SEVENTEEN member was just a trainee with big dreams. Interestingly, Wen Junhui reflected on his past after delivering a sweet cover of Lee Juck’s “Lie Lie Lie.” The Chinese idol shared how the song helped him connect with a random stranger who left a lasting impression.

Jun Shares Why ‘Lie Lie Lie’ Has a Special Connection To Him

In a recent episode of Lee Mujin‘s popular musical variety program “Leemujin Service”, JUN sang his own version of some classic songs. The second cover was Lee Juck’s “Lie Lie Lie” and the SEVENTEEN member shared why he chose to sing it.

According to JUN, he had trouble finding the confidence to sing when he was a trainee. In fact, he would often lose his voice when singing to a crowd. Since this would be a major hurdle for a K-pop idol, PLEDIS Entertainment decided to send Jun on a mission to face his fears.

He continued by sharing how he had to find someone in a crowd to listen to him sing. Although JUN was told he only had to sing the first verse, he admitted that finding a listener was difficult. The trainee was sent to the busy streets of Gangnam for almost an hour around lunchtime. Whenever he approached an individual, they would tell him they didn’t have time to listen.

Luckily for JUN, one older man stopped to listen to him. When the trainee declared that he would cover “Lie Lie Lie”, the man admitted that he was a Lee Juck fan. After listening to the future SEVENTEEN member, the man even gave some feedback. He reportedly praised JUN for his emotion but told him to practice his pronunciation.

JUN clearly appreciated the feedback and admitted he wanted to reconnect with his listener. “I wanted to thank him again if I have a second chance, but it’s hard to find him,” he admitted.

It’s a great story that confirms a kind gesture is always treasured. Hopefully, JUN will be able to reconnect with his random listener from his pre-debut days. In the meantime, SEVENTEEN is preparing for a comeback in October.
