The boys have created quite a stir by incorporating skirts into their concept photos. By doing so, SEVENTEEN is challenging traditional ideas about what is appropriate or expected for men to wear. The members who opted to wear skirts are Jeonghan, Jun, Mingyu, and The8. The concept photos for the new album involve SEVENTEEN revisiting iconic concepts and songs they did in the past. Jeonghan, the group’s second-eldest member, chose to embody “Super” from their SEVENTEEN 10th Mini Album FML. He wore a suit and varsity jacket to go with the skirt.

Jun went for a skirt that matched his statement shirt and the texture of his blazer, while Mingyu sported a skirt that matched the pattern and texture of his tartan suit. Finally, The8 portrayed their 2023 hit “God of Music.” He paired his skirt with a suit and jacket. BTS’s Jungkook Starts an Instagram Account for His Beloved Dog Bam

BTS’s Jungkook has returned to Instagram in an unexpected yet endearing fashion. Last year, to the dismay of ARMYs worldwide, he deactivated his personal Instagram account. However, he recently announced on Weverse that he had signed up for a new account—not for himself, but to showcase his beloved dog. 

BTS fans first met Jungkook’s doberman, Bam, during season two of the reality show In The SOOP. Bam was introduced as a new member of Jungkook’s family in the series, which premiered on October 15, 2021.

With the handle @bowwow_bam, the account describes Jungkook as “Bam’s dad” in the bio. It also features a cute, playful pun, “Have a good BAM,” which cleverly uses the Korean word “bam.” This word means “night” and is written as “밤” in Hangul. Jungkook’s new Instagram account offers fans a glimpse into his interactions with Bam, shedding light on a more personal side of BTS’s youngest member.

Bam is so adorable that he became an instant star on the platform. Since its inception, Bam’s Instagram has amassed over 900,000 followers in less than a day. Some want him to speak up about the Israel-Palestine conflict, specifically regarding HYBE Labels’ ties to music executive Scooter Braun, who has been accused of Zionism. This prompted fans to suggest that Jungkook adjust the settings of Bam’s Instagram account to limit who can comment on his posts. That’s what the other BTS members did with their accounts; they only allow people they follow to leave comments on their photos and videos.

BTS’s j-hope Poses for Photos at ROK Military Music and Honor Guard Festival

On April 12, the Republic of Korea (ROK) Army held the 2024 Military Music and Honor Guard Festival at the 36th Infantry Division in Gangwon-do. That day, BTS’s j-hope, who is currently serving as one of the division’s assistant instructors, became the center of attention. The festival, which featured military bands and honor guards from various divisions, highlighted j-hope’s popularity not just in the music scene, but also within the military.

A rift between SLBS and Stray Kids

SLBS issued a public apology on Twitter. “We sincerely apologize for the incident and to everyone that had been deeply hurt and disturbed by it, including the attendees, fans who had learned about what had happened through social media, and most importantly, the artist, agency, and all interested parties,” SLBS wrote.

She first went on hiatus in April 2023 after the untimely passing of her brother, ASTRO’s Moonbin. When he was laid to rest, Moon Sua put on a brave face and returned to work. But she crumbled and went on hiatus again in September because losing her oppa took a major toll on her. Thankfully, the surviving ASTRO members—namely Cha Eun-woo, JinJin, and Sanha—rallied around her. In October 2023, Eun-woo posted photos from a trip they took together. The photos showed all four of them, including Moon Sua, in high spirits, which elicited positive reactions from fans.

Meanwhile, Suhyeon is making her comeback after a 10-month hiatus, which began in June due to health issues. Her return is eagerly anticipated by fans, who have missed seeing her in the group. Kim Jaejoong’s Shocked Reaction to K.Will’s ‘Please Don’t’ MV Goes Viral

IVE’s First Group OST ‘Will’ Is for ‘Pokémon Horizons’

IVE has ventured into new territory with “Will,” their new Japanese single. It’s also their first group OST for the anime Pokémon Horizons. The release of this song coincides with the anime’s new arc, “Terastal Debut,” which began airing on April 12.

Gaeul, another member of IVE, recalled, “There was a huge Pokémon card game craze back when I was in elementary school. I played that a lot with my cousins and collected cute menko in all kinds of colors. I sang this song with all my might to fill it with the kind of cheerfulness and energy that’s so unique to the Pokémon anime, so please look forward to it!”

A dream come true for IVE

The group’s center Wonyoung spoke about her love for Pikachu. Meanwhile, Liz waxed nostalgic about playing the video games and collecting Pokémon cards with her brother.

“I’ve loved Pikachu since childhood and I wanted to live with Pokémon in real life, so I’m happy to get to sing the opening theme. We’ll be singing a cheerful song that’ll make you happy as you watch the show!” Wonyoung said.

Liz added, “I’ve enjoyed the anime ever since I was a child. I also played the games and collected cards, menko and plushies with my little brother, so I was honored when I learned we were singing the opening theme. It made me so excited and happy I can’t even put it into words. Since I was so excited about this song, I did my absolute best when recording it as well. I hope you guys are all excited for it as well, and would be really happy if you’d root for us a lot!”

Leeseo also shared her excitement. “I have fun collecting the stickers that come with Pokémon Pan pastry, and I put them all on my cell phone. It was a dream come true to learn we would be singing this song. I did my best on ‘Will,’ so it’d make me happy if lots of people liked it,” she said earnestly.

A significant milestone

This OST marks a significant milestone for IVE as they continue to explore new avenues in their musical career. In addition to “Will,” IVE is set to release their second mini-album IVE Switch on April 29, featuring two title tracks.
