ZEROBASEONE’s Zhang Hao Reveals BTS Song That Made Him Cry

Zhang Hao recently expressed his admiration for BTS. The ZEROBASEONE member revealed that there is even one BTS song that moved him to tears when he was just a trainee.

Zhao Hao Admits Being Moved to Tears By Emotional BTS Song

During a YouTube appearance on the popular music talk show “Leemujin Service,” hosted by singer Lee Mujin, Zhang Hao shared the music that has inspired him in his career. During the episode, the ZEROBASEONE member treated the audience to live renditions of his favorite songs, showcasing his impressive vocal talents. His performances included a range of K-Pop tracks, such as “Always” by ZEROBASEONE, “Rain” by Taeyeon, “I Love You” by Position, and “So Bad” by STAYC.

The live singing session also took an unexpected turn when Zhang Hao’s love for playing instruments was mentioned by the host, Lee Mujin. In response, Zhang Hao agreed to play the violin and chose BTS’s “Dynamite” as his song of choice. He spontaneously played the chorus of the song on his violin, with Lee Mujin accompanying him on the guitar.

Zhang Hao concluded his performance with another BTS song “Epiphany,” a solo piece by Jin from BTS’s 2018 album ‘Love Yourself: Answer’. He shared that this song had a special significance to him as it had moved him to tears when he watched a video of Jin performing it at a concert while playing the piano during his trainee days.

The melody left a lasting impression on him, and he had always wanted to perform the song. Luckily, Zhang Hao finally got his chance to do so in the episode.

ZEROBASEONE, the boy group formed through Mnet’s survival show “Boys Planet,” made their debut in July with the EP “Youth In The Shade.” They recently released their second EP, “Melting Point,” on November 6, continuing their journey in the K-Pop scene.

BTS Jin Reminds Park Myung Soo of ‘World Wide Handsome’ Title

Jin might be busy with completing his military service right now but the BTS member still found time to defend his ‘World Wide Handsome’ title. The “Moon” singer recently reached out to Park Myung Soo to remind the comedian about his title.

Jin Got Sulky When Park Myung Soo ‘Forgot’ About Him Being ‘World Wide Handsome’

In the latest episode of Park Myung Soo‘s web series “Halmyungsoo”, the comedian shared the recent text messages from Jin. In the messages, the BTS member was troubled because of something Park had said in another episode.

“I got a text message from Jin. ‘Hyung-nim, I’m disappointed,’” Park revealed while having a meal. He further explained that the BTS member had seen one of his segments where he chose the most good-looking celebrity in real life. The comedian had chosen someone other than Jin, which greatly troubled the idol.

“Jin watched my show. When I was asked who’s the most good-looking celebrity I’ve seen in person, I didn’t say it was him. So I think he got sulky,” Park said.

“I sent a long message saying I was sorry,” he continued. “He said, ‘Hyung-nim, when I get discharged, I will absolutely appear on your show again.’

The comedian added that he was grateful that Jin contacted him even while serving in the military. Park further explained why he didn’t choose the original ‘World Wide Handsome’ during the segment.

“To be honest, of course, Jin is good-looking. Out-of-this-world [handsomeness] wasn’t included. Why are you sulking? Don’t be like that,” he said.

Jin is currently on mandatory military service. He enlisted as an active-duty soldier on December 13, 2022. Before his enlistment, Kim Seokjin released his debut solo single “The Astronaut”. The song, which he co-wrote with the British rock band Coldplay, was dropped on October 28, 2022. Jin is set to be discharged from military service on June 12, 2024.

The friendship between Chris Martin and Jin continues to be a strong one. The Coldplay singer has just revealed how the BTS member serves as an inspiration in his life.

Chris Martin Opens Up About His Friendship With BTS’ Jin

The official Coldplay Twitter account recently shared a clip of Chris Martin talking about working with Jin. The clip, which is from the film “Coldplay – Music Of The Spheres: Live at River Plate”, features the singer admitting he just loves Jin.

“When we were planning the Buenos Aires shows, it just happened to coincide with Jin having to go into the army in South Korea,” Martin said. “We did it because I really love that guy, the way he moves forward without hesitation when he thinks it’s right.”

“It’s inspiring in my life,” he added. “I love that man. I love the stuff, the story of it, the weirdness of that relationship and how it’s become so natural.”

“It sort of inspires me across my life to lean into something that might be unusual if it feels right,” Martin continued.

The friendship between Jin and Chris Martin started when BTS and Coldplay collaborated on the song “My Universe” in 2021. Martin and his band also co-wrote Jin’s single “The Astronaut” which was released before the BTS member enlisted for military service.

Coldplay gave Kim Seokjin the chance to perform “The Astronaut” live during one of their concerts. Jin appeared as a special guest during the group’s concert at the Estadio River Plate Stadium in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The concert also coincided with the single’s release date and the performance was the first time fans got to hear the song live.

Kim Seokjin enlisted for mandatory military service on December 13, 2022. He will serve as an active-duty soldier for 18 months and will be discharged on June 12, 2024. “Coldplay – Music of the Spheres: Live at River Plate” was released on April 19, 2023.

Jin Shares Touching Message For J-Hope on Weverse

ARMYs are taking to Weverse and posting about how they miss Jin and J-Hope while the BTS members are in military service. One fan left a comment under Jung Hoseok’s most recent post and also mentioned how they miss “World Wide Handsome” as well.

Interestingly, Jin replied to the post. But instead of addressing the ARMY, his comment is actually a message for J-Hope.

“Are you getting <soaked> in the rain? Are you using the px (store)? Have you not gained weight?” Jin asked. He then questioned whether J-Hope has tried to contact him or received his letters.

“Have you not been able to call? Because you have been reading the room. Have you received the letters that I have sent well?” he continued. Jin then went full hyung mode by asking if his dongsaeng is OK.

Are you hurt anywhere? Have you shaved your friends’ hair? Is the food that is served there good? There’s a long time to go until you get a vacation,” he wrote. Jin then concluded his message with a line that had 2seok aficionados smiling.

I’m spending my military life looking at you,” he wrote.

It is interesting to learn that Jin has been reaching out to J-Hope although they are assigned to different locations. ARMYs also appreciated that Kim Seokjin continues to be a caring older brother to his fellow BTS member.

Jin enlisted for military service in December 2022 while J-Hope began his enlistment on April 18, 2023. RM is the next BTS member who will enlist although he has not yet announced his enlistment date.

BTS’ Jin Referenced in Disney+’s ‘Doogie Kamealoha, M.D.’

Doogie Kamealoha is an ARMY and she has her facts straight. The Disney+ series just referenced BTS in its latest episode and not surprisingly, Jin took the spotlight yet again.

‘Doogie Kamealoha, M.D.’ Namedrops BTS’ Jin For Perfect Lips

“Doogie Kamealoha, M.D.” is a Disney+ series following Lahela “Doogie” Kameāloha, a teen prodigy pursuing a medical career. The show has its own comedic way of dropping pop-culture references through the recurring character Dr. Lee and not surprisingly, he has strong opinions about the members of BTS.

In “Doogie Kamealoha, M.D.” Season 2 Episode 3, Lahela interacts with Dr. Lee, who advises her to get back to her “teen girl vacation.” The heart surgeon went as far as suggesting an adolescent argument about which BTS member has the best lips.

Interestingly, Dr. Lee himself claims that it’s Jin and Lahela quickly agrees. Dr. Lee doesn’t show it but he’s pleased that he got the right answer. “I would have made a great teenage girl,” he tells himself.

Dr. Lee, who is played by comedian Ronny Chieng, always makes funny references to teen culture in the show. However, this is the first time he has mentioned BTS and it’s awesome to see that Jin is the one thing he and Lahela agree on.

Jin also supported fellow BTS member J-Hope when the latter received his notice for military enlistment. Jung Hoseok previously revealed that his hyung reached out to him as soon as he got his notice and offered some advice.

All 10 episodes of “Doogie Kamealoha, M.D.” Season 2 are now streaming on Disney+.

BTS Reunite With JIN For J-Hope’s Military Send-Off

J-Hope is officially enlisting for military service and didn’t have to go alone. All seven members of BTS, including JIN, reunited to give Jung Hoseok a proper send-off.

JIN Takes A Break To Reunite With BTS For J-Hope’s Military Send-Off

J-Hope enlisted in the 36th New Military Education Center in Wonju on April 18. The BTS rapper will begin five weeks of basic training at the center before receiving his station assignment.

The military service will take several months but BTS made sure to give J-Hope all the support he needs. All members of the supergroup travelled all the way to the center to show their support. Eldest member JIN, who is currently an active-duty soldier, even took a leave of absence to be with Hobi. The boys also made sure to take photos with J-Hope and posted them on the official BTS Twitter account.

It didn’t take long before the BTS members began sharing the images on their personal social media accounts. While RM went for an emotional caption, JIN poked fun at the situation with the simple caption “Next person.”

JIN may love poking fun at the other BTS members but J-Hope confirmed that his hyung is fully supportive of him. The “On The Street” rapper previously shared that Kim Seokjin reached out to him as soon as he received his notice.

“Right when I got the notice, Jin contacted me. I asked a lot of questions, and Jin gave me advice on what I needed,” J-Hope shared. Although he didn’t share details about the advice, it clearly worked as he appears ready for his military service.

JIN is the first member of BTS to enlist for military service. Kim Seokjin began his enlistment in December 2022 after promoting his solo debut single “The Astronaut.”

J-Hope will begin his military enlistment on April 18, 2023. He is expected to be discharged by October 17, 2024.
