(G)I-Dle’s Jeon Soyeon, ‘Single Inferno’ Star Moon SE Hoon Deny Dating Rumors

Both agencies of (G)I-DLE’s Jeon Soyeon and Single Inferno’s Moon Se Hoon denied the rumored relationship between the two.

Recently, the two stars were speculated to be dating when a photo of them purchasing clothes together circulated at an online community.

In response to the rumors, agency Chorokbaem ENM clarified that Moon Se Hoon has a lot of celebrity friends. And that the two might have met each other at the department store by coincidence.

For those unfamiliar with Moon Se Hoon, he was one of the contestants in the first season of the dating reality show Single’s Inferno. In April, he signed with Chorokbaem ENM to pursue an acting career.

Meanwhile, Cube Entertainment shared that the two just have a close relationship. “They only went shopping together, and they are certainly not dating,” according to a Soompi report. As for Jeon Soyeon, she made her debut as the leader of (G)I-DLE in 2017.

Additionally, Jeon Soyeon is the latest K-pop idol to be embroiled in dating controversies. MOMOLAND’s Jane denied that she was ever in a relationship with SEVENTEEN’s Joshua. Meanwhile, BLACKPINK’s Jisoo confirmed that she’s dating actor Ahn Bo Hyun.

As of writing, other dating rumors that remain to be unverified include BLACKPINK’s Lisa with Frédéric Arnault, BLACKPINK’s Jennie and BTS’ V.

What’s in store for (G)I-DLE?

Away from these dating rumors, (G)I-DLE has been primarily focused on their music activities. They released their sixth mini-album I FEEL in May, which carried the hit track “Queencard.”

Currently, the group is preparing to release their first all-English EP HEAT on October 5. It was initially supposed to be available by September 8, but 88rising announced that there will be delays as they have yet to put final touches for the best quality.

Additionally, HEAT is Cube Entertainment’s first all-English EP in their 17-year history. (G)I-DLE’s collaboration with 88rising has also given birth to the music video of their pre-release track I DO.”

SEVENTEEN’s S. Coups Warms Fans’ Hearts With Marie Claire Korea Interview

Time has a way of slipping through our fingers. For S. Coups, fearless leader of the K-pop sensation SEVENTEEN, it has been a reflective eight years. His fans, affectionately known as CARATs, have watched him grow and lead the group with unwavering dedication. For his birthday, he sat down with Marie Claire Korea to share his thoughts on the journey so far and what lies ahead.

“A lot has happened to SEVENTEEN in the past two years, including tours,” he began. “We finished our Seoul concert last week, and the Japan tour is coming up soon. We released many songs and got good reviews. We needed time to discuss our achievements. But in reality, we rarely have such time. We always talk more about what we should do next.”

On a personal note, S. Coups shared his lack of individual ambitions within the K-pop scene. Unlike many idols who branch out into other things, he has a singular focus: SEVENTEEN

“Lately, I’ve been thinking about this a lot,” he admitted. “The thing I want to tell CARATs is that I don’t have any particular dream I want to achieve personally. If and when SEVENTEEN’s activities come to an end, I think my career in the entertainment industry will also come to an end. I have no desire to go into individual activities, like acting or variety shows. I let go of my personal ambitions to focus on SEVENTEEN. I made that decision because I believe the members will also continue to do group activities. Like now, we’ll probably release an album in our fifteenth or twentieth year. I think we can promote once a year or more if CARATs wait for us.”

S. Coups’ Marie Claire Korea quotes went viral

His personal goal is “to protect the group well.” Keeping a group as big as SEVENTEEN united isn’t a walk in the park, but he’s determined to give it his best shot. “Looking back, there were times when we argued about trivial things and got hurt because of small misunderstandings. I want to avoid that as much as possible. I think the members feel the same way. It’s not easy keeping us together, but I still try my best.”

But this doesn’t mean S. Coups has neglected his personal life. In fact, he’s found a way to balance his stage persona and his off-stage self, Choi Seungcheol

Choi Seungcheol and S. Coups have completely merged into one,” he says. “Before, I tried to keep the two separated, but I realized both are part of me. There’s no need to act differently based on the situation. As a result, I feel more comfortable and less burdened.” That said, S. Coups remains cautious, understanding the responsibilities that come with fame.

When these quotes from the Marie Claire Korea interview circulated on social media, his dedication particularly touched CARATs.

His unwavering commitment to SEVENTEEN and ability to balance his personal and professional lives offer a unique perspective on the life of a K-pop idol. Despite all he’s been through lately, one thing remains clear: S. Coups’ heart beats for SEVENTEEN, and he’s here to stay. – K-Pop News Writer

Infinite Surprises Fans With Banner Project in ‘Comeback Again’ Concert

K-pop boy group INFINITE successfully staged the Comeback Again concert, the group’s first solo show in seven years! And as expected, it became an emotional reunion with their fans.

On August 19 to 20, the six-piece held the two-night concert at the KSPO Dome in Seoul.

But what made the show extra special for both INFINITE and INSPIRITs is that it’s the group’s first concert since 2017.

Since then, the members –Sunggyu, Dongwoo, Woohyun, Seungyeol, L, and Sungjong– have all left Woollim Entertainment, pursued solo careers, and carried out their military services.

Additionally, the group also established their own label, INFINITE Company, which is headed by Sunggyu. They also successfully transferred the trademark rights of their group’s name from their previous label.

However, aside from the performances during the concert, it was the group’s surprise event for fans that moved the attendees’ hearts.

Most often that not, it’s the fans who prepared projects during concerts. And while INSPIRITs did organize a surprise for the group, the fans were shocked when the members also had a surprise of their own.

All six members of INFINITE held banners that collectively read: “We know you’ve waited a long time. We’ll give you the happiness you deserve.”

INFINITE and INSPIRITs’ bond

Given how monumental the concert was, it was no surprising how emotional the INFINITE members were during the Comeback Again concerts.

“The members went through a lot. There were a lot of ups and downs. Thank you for filling the place yesterday and today, Thank you so much,” Woohyun said during the show.

Meanwhile, Sunggyu added: “I love you from the bottom of my heart.”

The group also promised that they will always be where their fans are.

Online fans also opened up how meaningful the messages are of the members during the show.

The fears, doubts, hesitations, uncertainty after your military enlistment as well as establishing your own company, it was definitely not an easy path,” one wrote.

While another said: “You proved us more than that INFINITE. you assured us that made us build our trust on you. you did your promises like how you made it to us.”

Originally a seven-member group, INIFNITE made their debut in 2010. They are best known for their songs “BTD,” “Be Mine,” “Paradise,” “Man In Love,” “The Chaser,” and “Nothing’s Over.” They released their seventh mini-album 13EGIN in July.

After their Seoul concerts, the group will also have Comeback Again concert stops in Yokohama, Taipei, and Macau.

In her messages, Chaeyeon said, “You know, I really put up with everything else? But right now, I’m so angry I’m writing this and deleting it and writing it again. This RBW Japan concert, I really wish that they would be a little more considerate toward the staff who are managing and helping out.”

Chaeyeon‘s commitment to her performance was evident in her desire to look good while onstage. She continued, “It’s been a burden on my chest. I wanted to look nice on stage, so I personally paid to have my hair and makeup staff fly to Japan with me.” The “Knock Knock” hitmaker’s revelation underscores the lengths artists sometimes go to ensure they can be at their best, even if it means bearing unexpected costs.

Ateez’ Jongho Halts Activities Due to ‘Extreme Pain’ in Leg

Jongho of K-pop boy group ATEEZ will be temporarily taking a break from group activities due to health concerns.

KQ Entertainment announced on Monday, August 21, that the idol experienced “extreme pain” in his leg after the group’s performance at the KCON LA 2023 event.

Following this, the agency said that they’ve decided to suspend Jongho’s scheduled activities. Moreover, they also updated fans that the artist will be returning early to South Korea to “conduct a thorough examination and treatment by experts.”

While KQ Entertainment didn’t detail what caused Jongho’s leg pains, they mentioned that the idol has been previously diagnosed with a “meniscus rupture” after his last ankle injury.

“But because of his strong will to be on stage, he focused on conservative treatment and recovery,” the agency explained. Note that it was in August 2021 when the agency first revealed that Jongho was diagnosed with a minor knee cartilage injury.

Additionally, KQ Entertainment assured fans that they will provide updates and additional information about Jongho’s medical test results.

“We apologize for any inconvenience caused by the sudden news, and we will do our best to ensure Jongho’s speedy recovery,” the agency.

ATINYs’ concern for Jongho

Following the announcement, fans quickly took to social media to wish for speedy recovery for Jongho. Many of them left their messages through the hashtag “Get well soon Jongho.”

What makes fans even more worried is that this isn’t the first time that Jongho has been injured. In February 2020, he was also diagnosed with a fracture on his left leg. At the time, the doctor required him three to four months of recovery.

On top of that, another ATEEZ member, Wooyoung, also had to take a temporary hiatus in May due to an ankle injury. He missed THE DANCE DAY LIVE 2023 and KCON 2023 JAPAN events but has now returned to activities.

After KCON LA 2023, ATEEZ, sans Jongho, will go to Mexico for the Latin American leg of their THE FELLOWSHIP: BREAK THE WALL world tour.

Composed of eight members, ATEEZ made their debut in October 2018. The group released their latest album THE WORLD EP 2: OUTLAW in June.

GOT7’s Mark Tuan Hypes Up September 2023 Content

On August 21, a teaser from the GOT7 member surfaced on his official social media, leaving fans in suspense. The enigmatic ‘Coming Soon’ poster features Mark Tuan confidently posing, yet an intentional blur effect and obscured eyes shroud the image in mystery. At the bottom of the poster is a lone date September 1, 2023. It is the sole clue, hinting at something significant on the horizon.

This cryptic teaser has piqued the curiosity of fans, who eagerly await what unfolds on the promised date. Needless to say, AHGASEs are already prepared for an exciting revelation or announcement.
